When Coop is watching his old movie, remember that his 'cowboy accent' is not how he normally spoke before the war, it's how his character spoke in the movie.
Sometimes he loses this accent, and speaks like he spoke before the war. Like when he realised that all his drugs were broken, his 'cowboy accent' was completely gone.
It's because he's playing a character since the bombs dropped, The Ghoul, the guy who can survive in the Wasteland, and he based this character on his last movie character, the guy who ruthlessly executes the bad guy.
He never stopped being an actor, acting as the hard, cruel, hearthless Ghoul is his defense mechanism against what the world has become.

It was really nice of Coop to let that ghouls last thoughts be of his mothers cooking before putting a bullet through his head.
It was, but obviously killing Rodger wasn’t purely altruistic.
The Ghoul ate Rodger’s liver. I’m not 100% sure, but I think there was enough of the anti-feral drug concentrated in the liver to keep The Ghoul alive for a little longer.
He collapsed after selling Lucy, obviously he was out of options. Probably would have been a lot nicer if he had a bag full of jet.@@MarcosElMalo2

Poor Lucy had it ROUGH this episode but the best part of it, like you pointed out, Magy, is that she toughed up as well as sticking to her principles, no matter how ill suited they are for the outside world.
The Ghoul putting Roger out of his misery was such a heartbreaking scene. It was interesting to see how he was still practical about it, harvesting the teeth and getting himself some jerky too.
The dialogue was spot on, especially between the Ghoul and Lucy. At first, it may look like he's trying to break her spirit but if you think about it, he simply shows her exactly how the outside world is.
Getting her finger cut off after she bit the Ghoul's finger off - ouch! Fair is fair.
8:50 out of the whole episode, the scene with Stephanie was creepy as fuck. Really took the whole "grieving widow in need of comfort" to a whole new level.
10:17 the things we do for...love 😂prime example of guys thinking with their dicks instead of their brains.
After the look Lucy gives him before going inside, the end of the episode, with her coming out and giving the Ghoul his medicine hits so much harder.
15:08 the plot thickens! No wonder this made Norm be even more suspicious about everything going on in the vaults.
You fully expect to have at least one jumpscare while Norm and Chet explore Vault 32 and see all the gruesome scenes but the scariest part is - you don't get any jumpscare.
The revelation - Norm's mom was the one who allegedly opened the Vault from the outside - that really blows your mind away.
25:38 this scene is so interesting - you see how shaken up the Ghoul is - he doesn't take one moment to analyze the room first, just grabs whatever he sees in front of his eyes and gorges himself on drugs/drinks. When he discovers his medicine - that was the real jackpot and the old movie with himself - what a punch to the gut.
The reaction was incredible and your review afterwards was so good, loved listenin to you discuss the episode, draw your own conclusions, speculate about the future.

I like the way the story unfolds, Walton Goggins' ghoul is as cool as Lucy, and he made a big impression on me as a character. I wonder what will happen next with Lucy's brother, Norman) I don't quite understand - why give Lucy a finger, and even a necrotic one, if you're going to give her entirely to organs? Apparently, the robot's program was disrupted, and it was ready for treatment and organ extraction. A good balanced exchange.😁 The plot is dynamically developing from location to location. The ghoul reminds me a lot of the man in black from the "Westworld", one might say, his double, and he has some elements of a double-bottom character, moreover, even a general technique for plotting from Nolan and Joy. Ella had flashbacks from "Bumblebees" when cutting up a ghoul). Here, in the construction of the world, the guys (according to the intermediate result of the four episodes) have quite succeeded, I think.👉🏻👈🏻
It seems that he had already cut it off with an injection, but then he was going to cut it in his mind.. But we must somehow let the main character survive the episode 😏😏👉
You were right with the Mr Handy robot got a faulty programming.
There's plenty of instances in the game where you can encounter Mr Gutsy (the military variant of Mr Handy), roaming around the wasteland forcefully conscript people to help the country with the war or straight up shooting people it come across because it thought thay they're commies and believe that the war's still going 200+ years later.

The robot could have given her a finger because normally, she'd be put in a fridge like the other prisoners. In that case, his AI would tell him to keep her in pristine condition up until her fate was decided. But, the masters ordered him to do it right away instead.

And now with the leather pauldron, pads, and bracers, Lucy is now truly ready for the post apocalypse.

shure some people that are truly nasty dont deserve sympathie for the most part but most people do,if you become like others then what is left of you? take good traids of others shure but dont become worse.
In the game the pip boy (the huge apple watch on her wrist) has a radio function and if you choose you can literally listen to all this stuff as you kill, adventure and quest.

Lucy's strength may prove to be a weakness later on. She needs to adapt to how things are in that world if she wants to survive.

Lucy isn't the first character of Fallout to do damage, hang onto who they are, and make big changes before they vanished. It's cool to see her come to that
How could someone survive in the wasteland for more than one hundred years and not be affected by the radiation and turn into a ghoul? This was 219 years since the Great War when the bombs first were dropped so Roger had to be at least a couple of generations after the attacks. We need more information.
This makes me want to play Fallout 4 again! I hear they are updating the game soon.

@@ShantalhaitianPrincess He is a poorly written character. It wasn't his fault that his only friend hurt his leg, but he wanted it. I can't empathize with that kind of person. He is a resentful and selfish person, even with his only friend from the brotherhood. Then, as soon as he reached the new vault that saved him, he try to steal a core. They gave him a place inside the shelter. He is the new Finn 2.0 (one of the worst character together with Rei). The ghoul's backstory its much better.
