I always like the idea that perhaps it was Boomhauer that kept Dale from actually getting into trouble with the government more. Perhaps not so much spying on him, but rather keeping some form of records to show that Dale is ultimately just a goof.
That tracks to an extent but the truth is that Dale hasn't done anything illegal. The other truth is that Dale would scarcely listen to Glenn. They all pretend to be independent but they all rely on the straightman, The King Of The Hill.
@@dangwancie4797 I hope they don't keep them the same age and pretend no time has passed. Bobby is a Millennial, like us. If Bobby is still 13 years old and in to Tik Tok and is into Miley Cyrus or Katy Perry, I'm going to cry.
I watched the premiere and I watched the series finale. It was one of my favorite animated series ever and me and my family still quote and watch old episodes 🎉
You are not. Peggy is categorically one of the worst characters on the show. Nancy is an arguable contender but at least she faces flak for her bad behavior and choices.
How can you hate Peggy? She had Hanks back and was down to fight asap like that time that the old other high school team showed up at Hanks home to tease him and she was ready...
She’s awful. She was ok in the beginning, but she got almost insufferable in the middle. I think they started to tone her down towards the end. But, the “Peggy episodes” are nearly unwatchable to me.
One of my favorite tv shows ever. The only thing that ever bothered me about it was when Cotton got Peggy back into shape after her parachute accident so he could be buried in the veteran’s graveyard. Then a few seasons later, he left Hank a message to flush his ashes in a bar toilet, completely forgetting that story line. I hope they bring back the show and aging the characters would be a good idea. It’s sad that we lost Tom Petty and Brittany Murphy(RIP) so I hope they give them a fitting goodbye and not change voice actors.
To me when this was revealed that boomhaur was a fed was the reason dale hadn't been locked up... A case of don't worry he's a friend and he's harmless if he gets out of hand I'll bring him in myself..
Too bad they won’t create a reboot or sequel series. If they did, they should make everyone older. This would be my ideal plot 5 years later: - Hank & Kahn co-own Strickland Propane - Hank & Peggy adopts Luanne & Lucky’s daughter - Bobby is a College Freshman who’s dating Connie again - Dale & Family become Corporate Exterminators & Owners - Boomhauer becomes a Captain in the Texas Rangers - Bill marries Didi, and becomes GH’s stepfather (BWAH)
@@angelinacamacho8575 Imagine if there were some Shockers in a new KOTH Series, especially the one where Bill becomes a Distant Relative to Hank. BWAH!!!
My guess? He developed a blind spot concerning Hank because Hank is the least likely of his friends to do something terrifically illegal. Bill, because he's not always the swiftest, and Dale because he's Dale.
Would Mike Judge ever consider a "crossover" between "Bevis and Butthead" with "King of the Hill" as a possible "one time 1 hour long" episode? "B&B" was his first, yet crude claim to fame, but the we easily accepted "KotH" when released. The sexism and racism was dashed throughout, but did get better. As I am 49yo, "B&B" was there as a "dirty version" (with crappy music videos) at the time. I outgrew this show very fast, but next thing we knew, there was "Bevis and Butthead do America" being released to the movie theaters. I am so releaved that "KotH" was never "conformed" to a movie!
I really enjoyed this show. It had heart & humor that was character-based. Sad about Brittany Murphy who did a great job voicing Luanne ( & was a talented actress as well) Anyway,it would be nice if they would bring it back 👍
Bobby was always a G in my eyes. He didn't focus on the basic bitch rhetoric surrounding him and every young boy in the south during the 90s. "A man ought do this or that" I could never imagine being so uninteresting that I'd limit myself
Boomhaur isn't actually an federal agent but a fake badge to get with women that explains the badge that phone number and the girl leaving lol and it fits his character
I don’t know… that’s a good theory but the way the authors put it on screen suspensely makes me think otherwise. They also mention what everyone else does for work in the neighborhood except boomhauer. Boomhauer is also in less episodes overall and doesn’t speak on anything in his personal life except women….
Ran across this video randomly, I'm not a subscriber. It's interesting though, made 2 weeks ago for a show that went off the air a decade ago and still has 74K views. One of my favorite animated shows ever and as I see from the comments I'm not the only one who feels this way. It really had a great run, one of the last feel good TV shows of its age. I'm so happy they are going to do a reboot, I hope it's as good as it was, fingers crossed! Oh and to answer the question posed in the video if Boomhauer was secretly spying on Dale, I would say Ohhhh hell no he wasn't! He knew Dale since childhood and knew he was a harmless complete imbecile lol.
if we could get some celebrities to talk about it more we might get it back on air king of the hill is like trailer park boys alot to celebrities got their big brake after being on these shows like the voice of debbie and and alot of other people and there was even supposed have a movie coming out
Not sure how Hank was being immature in this episode at any point, if anyone knows what this guy meant please let me know how Hank was being immature in this episode
The only problem with "king of the hill" is they constantly ruin perfectly good steaks by placing them on burger and hotdog cooking machines(propane grills) instead of cooking on charcoal like true connoisseurs who know the way of the cow.
A.I. is going to resurrect a lot of once "dead" shows because it's easy, fast, and cheap since they don't have to pay writers , or probably voice actors either because you know, A.I. can replicate ANYONE'S voice 😔
I always felt like Bobbie was secretly fighting with his sexuality. And i feel like Hank knew but wasn't happy with his son I just always got that vibe.
Well, needless to say that Hank and Peggy’s quality as parents made Red and Kitty Forman from That 70’s Show look like competent parents by comparison.
Such a trashy back hill show this was . A weird father who doesn't know how to speak to his son , a wife that's plain creepy and strange. Don't even get me started on the demented friends in the alley . The son was the most normal one. I found absolutely nothing funny about it. And yeah I do have a sense of humor. I love the Simpson's and Family Guy. They could at least make weird things funny.
Bobby experienced a growth spurt in high school, and grew to be 6'10". He also found out that he was adopted from an orphanage in Serbia. He is now the starting center for the Denver Nuggets.
Hank Hill acts more like a liberal than a Texan. Plus he acts like a virgin and some points in the series. He doesn't like showing affection to his wife?

I only have one question concerning "King of the Hill": Did Dale ever find out about his wife's affair with John Red Corn?
No

I think Boumhour secretly got the guy's out trouble without them knowing.
If it did come back with a few more seasons, it would probably be in syndication, with a premiere on Adult Swim being likely...
It's coming back on hulu

Its called an epilogue. When you allow characters to reach their end beyond the story.
At the end the screen goes black because someone shot hank
