3:01 MMMM one of my favorite parts of the whole soundtrack right there, Event Battle had already hinted that the OST was gonna be great but that just confirmed it for me first time I heard it.
The osts started to pick back up starting from Color Splash. Sticker Star was sadly mediocre, but with a few good themes. It's hard to tell, because I have ptsd association with most of the SS ost.
The Water Vellumental reminds me a lot of Fatty Puffer from Kirby’s Return to Dreamland for some reason.
As for the other Vellumentals.
Earth: 1980s Koopa Troopa.
Fire: Cornelius the flaming guard turkey from Little Big Planet 2.
Ice: Poler Kamrous from Megaman Zero 2
I’ve never seen a polar bear charge up it’s special move so menacingly before upon till now.
When the french horns and violins drop just right. Its too good.
Also water vellumental is the best.

While the 4th one being wind would make way more sense, it would probably be harder to implement wind based attacks and overworld puzzles. Not to mention the whole elemental weakness thing.
I’m positive they are based of some Japanese cultural thing there is a god of water fire earth and ice which is what they are inspired from

Boss battle is actually pretty fun in this game

The only thing I don't like is the lack of exp, otherwise it's a really fun battle system

Do you think you could make a version that starts with the Puzzle segment and then goes to the Normal segment?
I would prefer the fourth Vellumental to be Wind, not Ice. Also, It would be cool if the animal was a wolf instead.( Though, a polar bear is still cool nonetheless.)
