In this video I remove the stock Chevrolet CAI and install the brand new Roto-Fab CAI. This video shows a detailed install step by step.
I'm blown away by the performance of this CAI. Watch the video and see for yourself! The mean sound that this CAI creates is a thing of beauty. It gives you 14 HP and 23 FT/LBs of torque to the wheels with no tune necessary. Worth every penny!

Two questions for you. Did you notice an increase in MPG they state you could see a increase of up to 2mpg. Second doesn't this void your warranty?
I have not noticed a difference in gas mileage. But that's probably because I can't stop accelerating harder than I used to because I like the new sound lol. From what I've heard and read, the only way a warranty claim would or could be denied is if the manufacturer can prove that whatever mechanical issue you're having was directly caused by the CAI. Which I could only imagine would be a very rare occurrence. You could always hold on to the OEM CAI and throw it back in before taking it in to the dealer too.
@@AssaultOffroad awesome. Thanks for the response. I got the trail boss and having a 4 inch bds lift getting installed tomorrow. I know im going to lose some power with these bigger wheels and tires. Not sure if getting this cai will help me get some power back or not.

@@AssaultOffroad Another question.. I noticed the air filter is not a "No Maintenance" filter like Volant has. Volant CAI is also only 349.99 and you never have to change your filter compared to 499.95 and having to service your filter every third oil change. So why did you choose Roto-Fab over Volant or any other brand?

A little off topic but is this a 2019 or 2020? Trying to find out from an owner if there is a significant difference with the 2020 10 speed transmission.

Psalm 146 : 2 huge difference with the 10 speed! Definitely get a 10 speed if you have the option. It’s an insane difference
I have the 2020 6.2 Trail Boss with the 10 speed and yes trust me there is a huge difference with the Corvette engine and 10 speed transmission

After installing my intake, I got a check engine and has turned off atleast 10times on me. Has anyone gone through this issue?
Unfortunately I can't help. I haven't had any issues with mine. Have you tried to contact RotoFab?
Make sure all of your hoses are securely fit an the clamps are tight. No leaks
What was your before mpg and after
Hard to say. I've remote started my truck a lot the last few months due to it being winter here in western NY so that kills my gas mileage. This spring I'll know if it's improved at all.
I put Airaid on my Silverado and my mileage went down because I loved that sound so much when I floored it LOL!!!

A Dragy test would have been nice...
I actually just bought a Dragy but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I did make another video where I used a phone app to measure 0-60 times. I'm sure it's not as accurate as the draggy but here's the link:

No unfortunately this will only fit the 5.3L

I own a 2019 RST 5.3 and a 2019 High country 6.2... you can't go wrong with either one of them. They both hold their ground very well. Ford & Dodge 👎👎👎👎
