Finally tried this method & lemme just say, it WORKS! I don’t be having the energy to do my hair everyday, so now that’s it’s braided , I’m tryna let these sit in for as long as they can , & with this Method, they’re staying in for a minute!

I made mine last the month after the week it was frizzy but still good enough to go out

@@Daduu Sadly it didnt go well but thats my fault. Basically I went under the shower and shampooed/conditioned my hair normally but with the stocking cap on - when I finally took my plaits out a week later my hair was matted really badly. Ive just put fresh braids in so I wont be doing this again until a fortnight from now, but this time I will make sure I follow the actual instructions on this video ie shampoo/water in a bottle and not go under the damn shower lmao

Man I appreciate this video. This has helped me a whole lot. Since I've been doing this I've been able to keep my braids up to a month. I usually wash my hair every two weeks and they usually still looks fresh. So now I just get my hair braided once a month but I still keep them clean. 🙏👐🙌

I need some pointers my man, I just started getting my hair braided and after about a week I end up undoing them cuz the itch just becomes unbearable and I start flaking like crazy. And how do yours look so fresh after a month!? Mine start to get a little frizzy after week 1... Do I need to find a new person to do my braids? Idk, I feel like I'm having the most difficult time with mine 😔
Wear a durag every night, don’t touch your hair a lot, put sum oil in between the hair (scalp)
follow what hes doing but you might also need some apple cider vinegar for your scalp if your buildup is that bad. i have to use aloe vera and apple cider vinegar for my scalp. i use those applicator bottles and mix it with water & my scalp buildup went away.
If the irritation becomes to much, what I do is put a hot damp cloth on my head for sometime like 2min. The cloth needs to be really damp because you don't want water dripping. Then apply some oils. I use shea butter that's it.
Trips oil every night?
Truly Angel not every night, when it feels dry. Do usually 4 time’s a week. Also moisturise hair very important, do that 3-4 times a week

My hair gets greasy fast so when I have my braids in so should I wash them when I shower regularly or should I wait a longer period of time before cleansing? And should I avoid rubbing the braids when cleansing and just stick to the roots?

Why do it with the stocking cap on? Not gonna be able to get all the dirt n stuff out like that you should do it with the stocking cap off to release all the dirt n grime from your hair because the cap is just going to release it an then trap it

@@juliusg7975 ngl it was ok but the pop smoke braids were hard to wash personally, 5 days ago I got 4 cornrows rn kinda like how nipsey hussle had em and so far they’re still lookin fresh af, I haven’t washed them since then I just been keepin them hydrated with some oil for hair and they’ve been good to me I just been struggling with the durag at nite for sleeping cuz it be comin off every time I sleep
@@Jrod1999 yeah same here, just make sure to it have sort of tight and try not moving too much at night that’s why it comes off haha. Ima get mine re-braided. I had the 4 rows as well and they lasted a week and half, would’ve kept longer but didn’t know how to wash them. I just kept them oiled a lot

Sup champ I’m sure it will be. However it might mess up your hair more because it’s such a huge space between the braids. But try it out and let me know because I’ve never tried it on 2 braids.
