I always love your store buyout videos.. I bought out 2 family video stores one had 1,000 pieces for $250 and one had 500 pieces for $250... Had tons of Box sets and blu rays.. I am sure it has already paid for itself at my store in the past 10 days.. I have been selling most at about a $7 average..
It may be a good idea to keep a roll of drum liner size trash bags in the van for when your carts aren't big enough. They're pretty sturdy and would hold quite a bit of clothing while keeping it clean.
Your next warehouse sale is going to epic.

Exactly. Every store down here won’t go below 7%. Maybe it’s the terminology or the way I’m speaking to not be able to get the deal.
I worked for Christopher Banks/CJ Banks for more than 10 years, I hated to see the stores close, but I am not surprised.

Don't trash the hangers. If they don't sell, donate to a charity that can use them, I would toss out my current hangers to use those ones, LOL Much better quality. I woud think the pants would sell very well on ebay. All the fixtures, maybe a local builder woulld use them.

I just bought 3 properties here in NJ,1 of the buildings was an old sports cards place..
They left over 1100 boxes of unopened cards, baseball, basketball, football, and some hockey..
Also tons of sealed sets,card supplies like cases and ball holders.
I will be selling all of it but I am keeping a case of 1989 Upper Deck baseball Ken Griffey jr.1st card and 4 different types of basketball cards that have Lebron James.1st cards and Wade and Carmello and many others..
Boxes that have Mike Trout rookie cards...
Just stacks of boxes..
These buildings will be knocked down.and a brand new ice rink and training facility will be built for athletes that wanna train and possibly take there playing seriously and possibly a career.
I'm a bit surprised you can't sell some of the better pants on eBay for $15-20. That's how you usually get these sorts of deals to pay.
He said it himself... hundreds of stores closed. The online market is going to be flooded with this product for a long time. He could wait it out, but I sounds like he would rather fast-flip for guaranteed return.
Cost/benefit of managing all that shit on eBay doesn't pay off.

Just too much CB inventory up for sale on eBay since so many stores closed at the same time. I have a box of crap that I RAed from Walgreens that is waiting out the Amazonian penny-wars.
Once they run out prices will return to normal, plus their "volume" will help sales rank.

Size 4 pants ... no wonder those were left. (LOL) I'd definitely put the small sizes on line first for a while, and then put the remainders in the warehouse sale. (ain't no size double extra-bitty women in MY house, for sure!) BTW- if you get women's size 11 shoes (12 in sneakers) and larger or really bitty ones, be sure and advertise so us bigfoots and the tinies can clean you out. Finding tiny size clothes is fairly easy; finding "overs and unders" in shoes is NOT.

I know I'm paying more by doing retail arbitrage, but I can be picky. On the other hand, it's hard to get enough inventory. I need to pull the trigger on some pallets or do some buy-outs.
I’m surprised you aren’t putting the nice pants on eBay. Seems you’d get more profit there then on $5 day. Then again, no shipping and no fees. I guess either way you make good money.

I use to buy Christopher and Banks clothes when they had their season sales/clearance during summer time. They were too expensive to buy otherwise. They use to be good quality clothing but years later they changed and didn't have as good of clothes. And yes, some were for older women, which I wasn't, as I was in my 30's. Sad to see another store go down the tubes. I honestly haven't been to a regular indoor mall for many many years. I have to say though I throughly enjoy watching these store buyouts you do!!!
We bought out one christopher banks store at 95% off but they threw in 3 rounders a ton of hardware some shelving and other stuff. It was about 480 pieces.
Oddly, my stores had sold all of their racks. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen.
@@ResaleRabbit Yea. it was the final day and I was in contact with the liquidator and could of closed out 3 more stores but they were a good hour away and just didn't have the time. I tried for the 97% but he wouldn't do it but did throw in the fixtures/hardware etc. so I felt pretty good about it. Keep up the good work. I love watching your videos!

Wow! You did a great job as usual! I'm guessing you are allowed to deduct the sales tax from the tax you collect.
I can, but for the small amount, it’s not worth the extra paperwork. I just deduct it with the cost of goods on my taxes.
It might be a different story if I had spend hundreds on sales tax, but it was likely about $10-13 total.

You’ll want to contact the liquidation company. You can get their details at the store level.
I went to my local one on the last day and it was all ugly (according to my wife) women's tops and there were only 40 or so left.
I think the brand is more aimed towards older women. So I’ve heard, at least.
Seems like a lot of work for a few hundred bucks.
Mostly just driving around for a few hours and waiting in the store while they run everything through the system.

I don't understand why you didn't post on poshmark for 50% of retail, you would be rolling in the dough, you didn't get these out of the dumpster yet you are selling for nothing. I don't get it.
Zero labor in taking photos and listing. Don’t need to store them for a year or two while they wait to sell. They’re gone in a matter of days and I make 2-3x my investment. If you buy cheap enough, you don’t need to force every penny you can out of an item.
Why not sell cj banks on ebay

Takes time (posting, looking up and shipping) and eats up space. So his math shows that uts better to do this than the process of ebay.👍
And it can take a while to move clothing on eBay.
