I had my daughter at 32 weeks Premature She spent almost a month in the NICU because she was underweight but everything else was fine I was in labor for 3 days.. no epidural and the kept me for a few days as well.
Chia is freaking gorgeous ! At 5:40 when Tim’s doing her sideline release she just looks so effortlessly beautiful I PRAY I can look nearly as good as her when I’m 9 months ! (I’m 12 weeks as of now btw lol) and I actually think we conceived around the same day a year apart so my Due Date should be around Miss Veda’s 1st Birthday 😩

When Chia described that painful experience of when they have to check how much you’ve dilated, it brought me back to when I had my baby a few months ago. The nurse shoved her finger so far up to only tell me I was also 1-2 cm. I DID pull her hand out the way when she tried to reach up further. Worst pain ever! And no one ever talks about this!! I cried from the pain!
I also remember that pain, the doctor was the one who was checking me (high blood pressure patient) and she did a sweep "to get things started" since I was also 1cm 😭😭😭😭 I grabbed her arm cause the pain was so bad!!!
Yeah, also no one told me i would gush blood after. I called them in ten mins later because I looked down the bed was covered in blood they said it was normal! Nor one ever told me 🤣 checking was soo painful like someone stabbingy you

Checking the cervix is so painful. 😩 The less dilated you are, the farther upward the cervix is. The cervix comes downward the closer you get to giving birth.
Literally!! 😭😭😭 back when I gave birth & the nurses had to check if my cervix was dilated and lowered enough for me to be admitted, I was not able to stay still at all and I kept squirming lol.

I could not tolerate the pain so I asked for the epidural when I was stuck at 3cm and I started shaking like crazy! I was like oh heck no I can’t do this without pain intervention 😭😭😭😭!

I remember contractions feeling like someone was stabbing me and slowly twisting the knife nonstop and I swore off anymore kids but now my mind says it wasn’t that bad so I’m convinced women’s brains are wired to “forget” that pain to trick us to have more babies! 😂

Yes actually this is a real thing! I remember reading a study somewhere that there’s a chemical in our brain that we women produce during childbirth so we forget and can keep making more babies! Crazy right!?!

This is true. My husband plays in a Mexican Banda and my new born baby slept through the whole banda walking next to him. He's still a great sleeper.

Checking the cervix is so painful. 😩 The less dilated you are, the farther upward the cervix is. The cervix comes downward the closer you get to giving birth.

Literally!! 😭😭😭 back when I gave birth & the nurses had to check if my cervix was dilated and lowered enough for me to be admitted, I was not able to stay still at all and I kept squirming lol.
@@merielp8066 Same here! My first pregnancy they checked my cervix early, I was so pissed. The second time around I was induced and they didn’t check my cervix until I had an epidural. Needless to say I was very thankful. Lol
