    Worked in the building trade 50 years .been on price work and day work.your work is very neat and tidy. Im retired now buty last 20 years ive done private work and thats were ive made the big money,you wont retire early working for the big builders.all the best for the future,and start your own company that would be my advice pal.

      Thanks for the advise! Been trying to get a bit more involved in the private work but I enjoy doing both at the moment cause site work you go home and switch off nothing to think about there’s a bit more to private work! Appreciate the advise though Will bear it in mind as I get older!

      @@freddievanilla2604 it’s a 9.5 inch London marshalltown buts it’s worn down probably to an 8.5 now

      @@DFindlayConstruction they look solid though? Also what’s the compraband for? Windows I’m guessing? Never worked on timber frames only odd dorma

      @@craigstyrin3453 they are solid, untill they hit a nail and they bend and you have try take them out and put a new one in 😂 yeah compraband goes under the window cills and soffits, as you have to allow for shrinkage so you can’t mastic but you need to finish it with someone so you don’t just have a bit gap

    Hi mate just come across your channel nice and neat brickwork anthor bricklayer to anthor 🧱👊👊, timber frames are a nightmare at the best of times to try make money on them I find mate 🧱👊👊

      I know and it’s only getting harder it seems! Traditional’s are brilliant when you get the right site, but at the moment I just really like brickwork and the site is selling so it keeps building!
