Hey Mini Moogle, I saw your other comment as well regarding Papermoon. YES I will finish it! I'm sorry I haven't finished it yet. Since I did my Plini - Kind lesson I am determined to finish songs. Saucy will be finished this weekend. Afterwards I will be picking up Papermoon again and continuing Flaneur Part 2. I have a lot of requests.. But I will finish these first :)
You nailed the 'interface' with the video and the tab underneath. It's easy to read the tab and watch you playing. I do think you could get a bit more out of your guitar tone. In the song demos (where you play the full part) it sounds like it misses some reverb or EQing, or maybe it's the mix itself? Dunno, just my opinion. Anyway, keep up the videos man, I've been playing along with many of em! I also feel like our spotify playlists are 99% the same lol
Thanks man! I appreciate the feedback. I admit that the lead tone for this perticular lesson is missing that reverb and slight delay. Has a bit too much gain too. Tone is something I slowly improve on. I recorded the guitars for this a few months back. I have since made better lead tones that I will be using in future videos. I hope you like them too. Let me know what you think once some new vids are out. I really do appreciate constructive feedback. It's always a cool thing to find others with similar music tastes! Cheers man
Hey man, I think the guitar tone lacking is linked to the fact that the original song has so many layers of lead guitar that gives that huge "echo" effect that one lead can't really mimic even with reverb and EQing. But still a great video
might wanna try actually tuning that guitar first next time
That bad? I will make sure to double check the tuning before hitting record. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.
@@LuminousDark it wasn't extreme but it was definitely noticeable in the g & b strings I believe. something was flat for sure. otherwise great job
and finding a better tone...
@@iszac864 for God's sake, dude is providing a tutorial explaining the song part by part, stop complaining
