That’s debatable if she has void or not. Void don’t suck gender out of something it’s just that HK and GK were made to be more like puppets than actual people. Kinda like the equivalent to the puppets in lies of P

I like your Ze’mer redesign, however, I think it might have been more interesting to give her a big veil, seeing as she’s in mourning. It would also fit with the charcater’s shape
I'm very curious as to how you would handle Nosk, especially since the whole point of the design is that it's something very alien that poses as something more familiar, by crawling inside the husks of its victims with extreme flexibility. so you would really have to push the boundaries of how "human" it could look with the anatomy being so different from the leftover bits of the body it wore after revealing its true form that's all hypothetical though. I would have no clue how to handle that
Love the designs I would recommend trying to draw fan loved characters like Quirrel, Myla or Cloth. I feel like they have interesting designs that could pose a challenge

Grimm - Especially since you could make him be wearing a mask due to the circus theme (Persona 5 like) The Radiance - Big Moth Light Goddess. Pale King - King of hallownest, I don't think I have to say anything more.
love the way the armor looks also, funny you say, the hollow knight IS like an older version of the knight - spoiler warning for lore long story short, there was an orange corruption, so the pale king decided the best solution would be to lock it away inside of an empty vessel, so he made thousands of children out of void, and the hollow knight ended up being the chosen one, all of the corruption was stored in the hollow knight and they were locked away, and all of the other children died somehow, the knight (player) survived this ordeal and hasn’t aged a single bit - instead of dying, they may have been asleep for a long time (i don’t remember if anyone knows) i’m not the MOST knowledgeable about the lore, but that’s the basics of what i remember

One thing im fairly certain on, is that the characters of hollow knight use Nails and needles. With nails being specifically defined as sharpened, so i find it more likely that many of them would have blades rather than lances. Hornet uses a needle, which could be a spear or rapier. You're the artist, these are just my general understanding and headcanon. Great drawings
A huge thing that I personally loooove in armor is different styles of Bevors; the big collar piece of armor on some plate sets. Not terribly relevant to THIS video, but like it's something to look into, I'd think! Fantasy ones and realistic ones.

They're really only two types of weapons, blade like weapons(manly swords and their varatuons) and clubs. To be fair there are a set few that the argument for lances could be made such as with mantis lords. Though Almost all armed enemies tend to slash at you and the knight only ever slashes. And the lance are a purely thrusting weapon. Anyhow yard looks amazing especially loved your mantis lord interpretation.

I love that you took the hussar armor and put it on the mantis lords, hussars were cavalry with lances, and the mantis lords jump and charge around like nuts, it feels so fitting in hindsite! And I love what you did for my boy the hollow knights, especially the helmet, I love the little split in the visor connecting the to eye holes! Could you please do steel soul jinn? I think she has a nice design that could fit a human, since she's kind of a robot. Other characters that I would recommend are dreamers, pale king and some bosses, cause those have some cool designs.
Here's my recommendation for part 3. 1. Grimm, he's more like magician than knight btw. 2. Pale king, he's simply the king of hallownest. 3. White lady, she's pale king's wife, of course she's not a knight. 4. Pure vessel, the pale king's favourite- uhm, pale king's ONLY child (if there is no hornet). He's the hollow knight before it's corrupted. 5. I also want to you redraw ze'mer/grey mourmer knight version, u can watch "ze'mer boss fight" in youtube to see her design, she's using huge nail and can swing it like a piece, her anthena kind also going up at fight.

That isn't a fauld. Those are tassets. A fauld is made of small segmented pieces which extend around the body, covering most of the waist and joining at the middle all the way down until the crotch. The buckles which hold it in place are concealed by the breastplate above it. Tassets, meanwhile, are plates which are meant to be attached to the bottom of the fauld, often with visible buckles, but are often attached to the breastplate in art.
