This is a gorgeous look! I think I'll try a slightly less teased version of this for work tomorrow. (: Also, I personally prefer when you reveal the hair early in the episode, and talk with the style in, simply because it gives me more time to admire your handiwork.
Oh yes, this look is incredible as was Lady Hamilton... But In my humble opinion,,... No-one comes close to as beautiful as you are. Simply adorable. I am also really glad you are still doing these beauty beacon episodes. They are timeless I think.
I completely agree!! I grew up in a predominantly Dutch neighborhood, and the people were, for the most part, quite attractive, especially the women!! And, so, Lucy, you are typically very attractive, too!! I certainly hope that you don't mind my saying so!!😊😊✝️⚜️
This is so crazy! I just picked up a used copy of Wuthering Heights and Lady Hamilton is on the cover! I would never have known who it was if it wasnt for this video. Cool!
Maybe you could do someone from the sultanate of women next. They were powerful but controversial because they were women in power in the 16th to 17th century. The names of the most notable ones were: Hurrem sultan, Mihrimah sultan, Nurbanu sultan, Safiye sultan, Kosem sultan, and Turhan sultan.
The Duchess of Devonshire was an incredible style icon of her time and an influential political activist. She would be an amazing historical figure for you to base a video on. Your content is refreshing and really fun; I'm definitely a new convert. Thanks for sharing.
I loved this so much! Could you try a medieval regal look? I'd love to see Eleanor of Aquitaine (there are several medieval ''drawings'' of her). I think with a crown included, you'd totally rock a look like that! Definitely a challenge but I think you can pull it out.
It would be good to see the painting next to your face at the end of the vid. I know it's in the thumbnail at the beginning, but it would just be easier to compare.
I love seeing the finished product first and then being shown how you made it 🙂 and my suggestion for the next video is one of the suffragette ladies 🙂 xx
Look into LILY LANGTRY ( she was an English "actress", model and performer) -- Was one of the first Product Icons (Pears soap) and ended up touring the Wild West and actually owned a vineyard in Lake County, California. She was BEAUTIFUL! and very interesting.
Ugh, this is one of my favorite portraits ever. I was lucky enough to see it at the Tate London a few years back. You did a wonderful job and it was so cool to learn more about the woman behind the painting. Thank you!! Best series on YT. Honestly.
You seem strong willed and confident. I love your channel. Its refreshing to see popular channels with you tubers that have an actual personality and character.
I just want to say one thing: I've always loved your videos! Beauty Beacons and the series about old time's hairstyles are great! A second thing: I'm very found of XVIIIth century and begining of XIXth century, so these videos about Lady Hamilton and Juliette Récamier are already two of my favorite! I whish you a wonderful and successful 2019! Greetings from Brasil! :*
This is my first time seeing a Beauty Beacons video, and it's amazing! Please keep doing them if you enjoy it. It's a great idea but I'm sure they take a good amount of work.
MANY GREETINGS FROM LIMA - PERU. YOU HAVE GIVEN US ALL THE HAPPINESS TO SEE EMMA LADY HAMILTON RESURRECTED IN YOUR PERSON, I NEVER THOUGHT THAT SOMEONE COULD DO IT. SHE WAS RECOGNIZED IN HER COUNTRY AND EUROPE FOR HER GREAT BEAUTY. YOU ALSO HAVE GREAT BEAUTY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR WORK.
hiii! I get wanting to leave the reveal till the end, but I also love getting to see you give the history/background in the look-gives me more time to admire it and see how it moves and stuff like that. =]]
I would love to see a video about Zsa Zsa Gabor, she was a well known Hollywood actress with many husbands :) and I'd also love a video about Joséphine de Beauharnais, she was the wife of Napoleon I. Thank you for making this series, it's always fun to watch :)
I like the change of the reveal being at the end, though the thumbnail does give it away, too, and it's probably hard to solve that. Thank you for doing these informative videos! :)
I absolutely love that Romney's Lady Hamilton portrait as Circe. Her life would be good subject matter for a period drama, don't you think?! P. S. I love your channel, especially the Beauty Beacons series 😍💐 You're quite a beauty beacon yourself.
This is beautiful! I love the historical recreations. My hair is fine and it will hold a tease if you hit it with hairspray and even more so if you shoot it with the hot air from the blowdryer to freeze the tease. A tip from the 60’s for big hair!
I would totally love to see you out of your comfort zone as Siouxsie Sioux, it would be really cool if you pull it off. And i like this new format better.
OMG SWEETHEART THIS IS AMAZING! Never in my wildest dreams would Ithought you'd do Lady Hamilton someday! Quick suggestion, this moght be one of my favorites, along with Theda Bara, and Lily Elsie ~~(Greta Garbo would be a perfect beauty beacon)
I love watching you recreate these looks from famous and historical women. I was wondering if you might do AVA GARDNER. She’s one of my favorite actresses from the 40s and 50s.
Glorious fun watching and just as good try out in my spare time. Will you ever try to recreate the hairstyle and look of Ana de Mendoza, the Princess of Eboli from 16th century Spain? A favourite historical personage of mine, and fascinating, besides, for wearing an eyepatch!
I like having the surprise!! I have a request for Beauty Beacons, but it's between history and fashion... I've fallen in love with the Russian TV series Ekaterina: The Rise of Catherine The Great, with Marina Aleksandrova playing the lead of Catherine the Great, it's available on Amazon. The production is stunning, and I really like how they've treated the hairstyles as well, keeping the feel of 18th century hair fashions but with a contemporary look. So there's my request, Marina Aleksandrova in the role of Catherine the Great.
I personally like the idea of the end result being a surprise. I REALLY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS LUCY!!! Please respond in some way to this comment if you read it. That will make my day.
This is awesome! I REALLY hope you keep doing this!!!!!!! Someone I would love to see is Emma from the BBC mini show Emma. Her hair is amazing! I would also LOVE Margret Hale from North and South!
I like seeing you as the beauty beacon or as yourself at the beginning either way. Also, for a Beauty Beacon of Fiction: Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby?
This look is Sooo beautiful. It reminded me a little of Princess Belle. I think it would be awesome if you did a tutorial for Pride and Prejudice styles, Old Hollywood (the classics- Marilynn or Audrey), or even a tutorial on gypsy or bohemian hairstyles.
have you done mary pickford/early hollywood starlets? i think youd really suit those chunky ringlets from that era! the makeup from that era is fascinating too
I love, love, LOVE that you still make this series.
How about Catherine The Great, Queen of Russia. She was beautiful, powerful and ruthless.
Oh yes please do
I’ve bought so many bios of women you’ve covered in this series because you got me interested in them 🙂
same!
Personally I love seeing the look upfront, I always think “wow - how did she accomplish that?” aand then you show us :D
Leyla E woops, you’re right - better delete that bit
Agreed!
This is a gorgeous look! I think I'll try a slightly less teased version of this for work tomorrow. (:
Also, I personally prefer when you reveal the hair early in the episode, and talk with the style in, simply because it gives me more time to admire your handiwork.

This is so crazy! I just picked up a used copy of Wuthering Heights and Lady Hamilton is on the cover! I would never have known who it was if it wasnt for this video. Cool!
Love the Lady Hamilton hairstyle, she is one of my favorite historical persons. Please do the hairstyle of Madame Julie Récamier!
Yes!!!
I much prefer this format!
I love Hurrem sultan, she's so beautiful, and her daughter too.
a Hurrem Sultan look would be amazing!
She looks just like the actress who played Hurrems sultan's daughter on the Turkish series
How have I not seen that before!!
Lol this was one of the reasons why I clicked on the video I thought it was the actress
The Duchess of Devonshire was an incredible style icon of her time and an influential political activist. She would be an amazing historical figure for you to base a video on. Your content is refreshing and really fun; I'm definitely a new convert. Thanks for sharing.
This reminds me of the Edwardian Gibson girls. Maybe an Evelyn Nesbit?
I have an episode on Evelyn Nesbit already! 😄
She've done a tutorial of Evelyn Nesbit 😊
Looove this series
This reminded me a bit of Belle's hairstyle in her yellow dress! Gorgeous as always!! :)
Yellow , hmmm should clearly have been golden.
Can we just acknowledge how amazing Sir Hamilton is as a person? Like nobody is that kind he's amazing.
I like seeing the style at the beginning so that, as you are building the style, I can better understand how it is fitting into the finished style.
I also love the shirt that you're wearing while creating the look! It really compliments you and looks absolutely beautiful on you!
Have they done a movie about Emma's life?? I'm fascinated and I love this beauty beacon video! And all of this era!
I loved this so much! Could you try a medieval regal look? I'd love to see Eleanor of Aquitaine (there are several medieval ''drawings'' of her). I think with a crown included, you'd totally rock a look like that! Definitely a challenge but I think you can pull it out.

I don't have an intro preference but I do love that we got so much history on this one!! I had never heard of her and it was fun to learn about her
You are a very creative and inspiring young lady. You have a kind heart it shines through. X
I'm so glad you did her! I've admired her look for quite some time
I love seeing the finished product first and then being shown how you made it 🙂 and my suggestion for the next video is one of the suffragette ladies 🙂 xx
How lovely! I had no idea who Lady Hamilton was. Thanks for another delightful video :)
Look into LILY LANGTRY ( she was an English "actress", model and performer) -- Was one of the first Product Icons (Pears soap) and ended up touring the Wild West and actually owned a vineyard in Lake County, California. She was BEAUTIFUL! and very interesting.
Plus the town of Langtry in Texas is named after her!!
I love how you are fascinated with the 18th century. I am too! What a beautiful period in time. Thank you for the excellent videos
I like the surprise till the end and seeing you transform
Ugh, this is one of my favorite portraits ever. I was lucky enough to see it at the Tate London a few years back. You did a wonderful job and it was so cool to learn more about the woman behind the painting. Thank you!! Best series on YT. Honestly.
You seem strong willed and confident. I love your channel. Its refreshing to see popular channels with you tubers that have an actual personality and character.
I like seeing the look at the end! it's fun to see the progression of the hairstyle before the final look, and it helps hold my attention haha
Loved this! Could you do a video about your hand care/ nail routine? Your hands are so pretty and delicate looking! 💅
I love this series!!! It’s the best thing on your channel!! 💛 I would love a Bathsheba Everdeen tutorial xx
Your recreations are so accurate! Please do Veronica Lake, her look was so unique.
Maybe a tutorial on the hairstyle you wear in the beginning? ? I loved it
hiii! I get wanting to leave the reveal till the end, but I also love getting to see you give the history/background in the look-gives me more time to admire it and see how it moves and stuff like that. =]]
It fits you so well
I think I prefer the original format because we already see the end result in the thumbnail anyway.
I love the new format. And your series ! Thank you for your work !
I like the new format. Also, your 18th century videos are always amazing.
Love the surprise at the end!
I loved this video! I can't wait to my hair to grow again and try this look

I would love to see Venus, Mirabai or Boudica.

I saw a exhibition about Lady Hamilton in London a couple og years ago, a very facination woman! And the portrait of her were really pretty
I like the big reveal! Helps keep me interested as I don't fully know what to expect (apart from the small peak in the thumbnail)
I loved this! And the way you speak is so wonderful!
So gorgeous! You are so good at these recreations.
I like the change of the reveal being at the end, though the thumbnail does give it away, too, and it's probably hard to solve that. Thank you for doing these informative videos! :)
My favorite series on UA-cam!! And how cool was lady hamilton?? Thank you sharing her with us!
What about Nelson's wife?
"I think blue eyes and dark hair is the most beautiful thing there is!"
me who has blue eyes and brown hair: *blushes*
This looks absolutely beautiful!
I absolutely love that Romney's Lady Hamilton portrait as Circe. Her life would be good subject matter for a period drama, don't you think?!
P. S. I love your channel, especially the Beauty Beacons series 😍💐 You're quite a beauty beacon yourself.
This is wonderful. I hate doing my hair, but watching this has me inspired to go get a curling iron and bun thingy.
This is beautiful! I love the historical recreations. My hair is fine and it will hold a tease if you hit it with hairspray and even more so if you shoot it with the hot air from the blowdryer to freeze the tease. A tip from the 60’s for big hair!

I L O V E when you do this series!!
Please do a beauty beacons on CHER! I would love to see you do a video on her hair from Moonstruck in the opera scene.
You should make an episode for Princess Diana of Wales or Brooke Shields. Loved this format!
You are so naturally beautiful! I love how different you are from all the other youtubers! Not crazy and money hungry! Great job keep it up!
As a woman with blue eyes and dark brown hair, you just made me feel so pretty!! Well done on the look!
so cool! Reminds me more of Evelyn Nesbit.
I really loved it!!! You always have such amazing and interesting ideas. big hugs
Glorious fun watching and just as good try out in my spare time. Will you ever try to recreate the hairstyle and look of Ana de Mendoza, the Princess of Eboli from 16th century Spain? A favourite historical personage of mine, and fascinating, besides, for wearing an eyepatch!
Enchanting series! Greetings from Moscow)
Maybe countess of Cosel, princess Tarakanova or Marina Mniszech will be the next?
Жанна Попова Marina Mniszech would be awesome. Greetings from Poland ;)
About the format: I think I prefer this one, it's more endearing
I like having the surprise!!
I have a request for Beauty Beacons, but it's between history and fashion... I enjoyed watching this video from start to finish .. the hair style is so feminine and cute
I love this style on you, beautiful .
I like seeing you as the beauty beacon or as yourself at the beginning either way. Also, for a Beauty Beacon of Fiction: Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby?
She already did Daisy Buchanan a little while ago :)
A very strong women in history was Katharina Lanz. She defended her village against the french. I would love to see how you get her style
Amazing!
Can you make hairstyle of Marie Stuart from Reign ?
There's a ton of great hairstyles in that show!
That thumbnail though 😍.... You're so talented!
Love the hair
My Mother had a paperback copy of Wuthering Heights that had that painting of her on it, always thought she was pretty and wondered, now I know.
Love this format!
You look absolutely gorgeous as Lady Hamilton!
I like having the reveal at the end
You look amazing and your brown eyes are beautiful! I also think this hairstyle could double as Bella from the Beauty and the beast. Is really pretty.
Lady Hamilton the original super model! She was such a fascinating woman and I've always been interested in her life story and romances..
😁 I’ve been waiting for this video!
Beautiful!
You are amazing! Please, try to do Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth or Cleopatra :)
This is beautiful
have you done mary pickford/early hollywood starlets? i think youd really suit those chunky ringlets from that era! the makeup from that era is fascinating too
Leanne Packer she has done Mary Pickford
