Sonny Liston "A Man" a great man and one tough fighter. Most tragic life of any boxer and very shameful Sonny was never recognized while he lived. Charles "Sonny " Liston RIP champ legends never die.
I love the fact that just some years ago before people stopped knocking on each other's door without a 2-day warning you know we all went outside and mingled and you could get in a fight even and it wasn't the end of the world but Sonny Liston pulled a gun out in the casino and fired blanks in the air and and it just he laughed everybody went crazy and he just fired an extra one when he was done laughing but it just shows you the difference today I mean you're guaranteed an arrest and you're guaranteed nobody's with the program nobody would really understand or be able to read the room at all I guess how can you read a room if you're reading your phone as I'm sitting here talking to my phone
Sonny was a bad man and he doesn't get the credit he deserves but he's a top 10 greatest heavyweight

Sonny deserved a lot better. He was a terrific fighter, he was witty and intelligent. And for a man who at times looked so sad, he had a smile that lit up the room. He had a good side as well. He will never be forgotten.
He endured a lot and achieved remarkable results. RIP sonny rest in power champ.
Liston is one of the most underrated boxers of all time. In his prime he had the perfect body, a huge upper chest, legs that were tree trunks and arms that were longer than life and perfect conditioning. He was very misunderstood especially after he won the heavyweight championship from Floyd Patterson. The most intimidating boxer who ever lived Sonny Liston
