cinq handbrakes can be really good i have you know. Everyone knows to clean'n'grease the actuator arms but you wanna be stripping the self-adjuster and making sure thats really clean and free as well and actually manually adjust the shoes out so the drum only just goes on and slacken the handbrake cable. Then do the usual cinq thing of just mashing the brake pedal few times to centre everything before doing the handbrake cable back up.
Cheers Chris.. yeah I think I probably just need to familiarise myself more with how the adjusters etc are laid on on cinq rear brakes rather than just accept the handbrake are "just rubbish".
Get the damn thing down llandow or whatever that circuit you took the slug so we can see if its any quicker! Or I'm de subbin 😅 I'm not getting a seicento now as I've bought a VW T4. So I have an 1100 engine going spare, it'll need ancillaries alt,starter,ECU,gearbox but they're cheap. I do have a throttle body for it that I've flowed and knife edged the butterfly on, don't know what you run on that but you could have it to try. I did it because they have a flat spot at 3600rpm@ or a stutter,may cure the full throttle dive your getting as it'll help the air flow better at all speeds. It's good too see your back at it I've missed the little lemon, wasn't my cup of tea at first but your mods and toning down of its colourful past is paying off. Needs some proper buckets in it and that rear brace putting in and it's slug 2 🤗 ripe for a caning round a track!
Don't worry mate I'll be hitting tracks in this whether it likes it or not..the sprint day will be a good bedding in session to see how it does..it better be a decent bit quicker haha. As for the throttle body etc can you ping me a message and we can have a chat about it..trying.a different throttle body wouldn't hurt ..general thought is the tps could be faulty and I CANNOT get the old one off...( message me Facebook messenger on the wornout Racing page if that's easy for you)
Add negative cable to the body old trick save you alot of lamps and replce back set lights,
