Honestly, most reviews should be this to the point. I was able to watch the whole thing without pausing and still feel like I know enough to at least think about buying it. Reminds me of an upscale RC Pro Am for NES/Arcade
@@bowertendo Can you play this against AI? And is so, what is the AI like? Is playing against AI cars good or not? How many tracks are used for AI play? Thanks.
Do you mean playing the game solo? If so, you absolutely can and there were quite a few tracks/variations of tracks. I think there were around 30-32 tracks. There’s a whole campaign, too, though there isn’t really story or anything like that
@@bowertendo Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I meant solo play. There were some comments made on Steam regarding playing against AI which now makes me hesitant, One gentleman wrote: "While you obviously face off against AI in single player games, the CPU racers feel like they all use the same version of it no matter the car/race/difficulty level. This makes for incredibly dull races, where everyone takes perfect turns on the same line with no errors beyond potential collisions. I don't know if this is supposed to be a competitive multiplayer game, but that isn't really an excuse for CPU racers with the exact same behaviour across every single car; especially when single player Grand Prix exists and is the first option shown on the Main Menu, "Good racing AI tends to have a mix of types, with some racers making more mistakes or falling further behind the pack while others are more competent and do a better job of staying near first place. Even when I play on the lowest difficulty, everyone does the same thing to perfection; leading to a very dull experience."
@wolf7379 yeah, I can see some valid points in there. The AI isn’t the best, but I also never felt like it was terrible either. Granted, I played this on Switch, so there may have been patches all along the way before I played, but I had a good time with the solo

That’s the goal; trying to respect your time! Also, YES, I forgot about RC Pro! I was thinking of those Off Road arcade games, but RC totally fits
Can you do 4 player local play with joycons?
Yes, you sure can! I know you can play up to 4 players, but I only ever used single joycon with two players (worked perfectly fine.)
Nobody online for online play, in Australia
Noooo! That sucks ☹️ The online is actually fun (even when I got wrecked.)
