"my friend Brittany Snow" - my pitch perfect Becca and Chloe heart is so happy rn🥹 so happy she's making her directorial debut, the fact that she's in any way involved ensures that I will watch it!
I missed Anna Kendrick so much! She is my favorite actress. She was doing like 5 movies a year for so long, I’m glad she was slowing down for a while. But I’m so happy she’s back! I don’t want to watch trolls 😂
@@carter3369 lmao that’s how I treat strangers too. It’s not fake, that’s how literally every single person who deals with the public acts. All retail workers are fake then too. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Kayla-pi3pk don't mind Carter, they go from video to video spouting rubbish about Anna. And I'm going to state for the record, I know people who have had wonderful experiences with her, without it being anything to do with her promoting her career or even anything that was for her own gain.
Just watched this. Never heard of Zovatto before but he nailed it. Warm, friendly to creep in the blink of an eye. Lots of other good performances as well.
I can't tell you how anticipated i am for this movie after watching ALICE DARLING just few days ago. I've watched all your movies since the last few years and i can't wait for this one. You're a phenomenal actor❤
Extremely unsettling film. The casting of Rodney was great because the guy seemed (on initial encounter) harmless, or charming or rather disarming and friendly. But the lesson being, never ignore your instincts.
Kinda wish they’d suggested how the trailer, purely by itself, would make them feel. I have a few ideas of where the movie could be heading, and I do know about the real life story, but if I look purely at the trailer I’m actually mildly amused. Anna’s character is pulling all the tricks to politely shove off from her date without conflict, and her date is basically calling her out on them. It’s like he’s saying, “Nice try,” rather than, “I’m a supremely creepy individual who you are right to run away from.”
I just was like, "WHY did she park so far away??" But I would guess since it was a game show, and there were probably a bunch of people, including the crew, and whoever else, already there, when she arrived? So she'd have to park further away, but THAT far away though? I know it's a movie, and we got that suspenseful shot of her walking in an empty parking lot, with him following her, and that's all that matters. I just SO wanted her to be parked closer.
Just watched the movie. Both actors are amazing and make the movie look very real. The emotions, the tension, everything. The scene with the parking lot had me most tense up because it was creepy as hell. Unfortunately, far more women are victims of this than men. Some aspects of the movie got me angry and worked up on the inside because of how women are treated and are often not taken seriously. It shines light on all aspects of our society that need to be improved. It also got me thinking about dating and that just because someone is so charming and seemingly attractive initially doesn't mean it's good. Sometimes it's only the beginning of something unpredictable and potentially a huge red flag.
in the film it's also not really a date it was the meet up to plan a date. they had to make contact to set these up back then. pretty sure it's mostly true to life.
That parking lot scene. My knees were shaking and at times I was trying not to freeze as though I was the one walking. That was really well done.
Same.. both their acting was wild..

If they're still planning to make Pitch Perfect 4, look no more than either Anna Kendrick or Brittany Snow to direct the movie
I hope they win every accolade for this movie. It was a real masterpiece.
This is parody?
Yes I agree
The teaser was so good and it really set the tone of the movie. Can't wait to watch it!

Great teaser. Daniel is so great at doing ominous characters. Great casting.
Congratulations Anna for this directorial debut. This movie looks amazing ❤❤❤
The parking scene is terrifying
Anna is MARVELOUS. So excited for this movie! 💓

Very nice! Great performance, both of them, and the young girl too!!
Just watched it yesterday at a local cinema...so good.
I watched this the other night and it creeped me out! So good.

He acted so well, because while watching the movie I looked away more than a few times, I just couldn't look at him because he was so super creepy
Looks like an extraordinary directoral debut! Can’t wait tu watch it
Best trailer!❤
I can’t unhear Poppy now. 😂💖
that's Tyler Leander of Station Eleven (Danny was amazing in there and in this too woah)
That trailer really creeped me out

This guy can easily be mistaken for younger Wagner Moura, the actor who portrayed Pablo Escobar in Narcos series.

Yeeaaah. I scanned through that parking lot scene. I’m such a baby. Maybe I’ll watch it, now that it was broken down a little more 🫣

Oct 18th? Where? Certainly not on NF Canada.
I wonder what the real survivor.. think of the movie since it's supposed to be about her almost being the next victim of a serial killer
I don't understand what offened him 0:54 here
Hate how the subject of a serial killer that’s a true story makes them laugh. Society is so blasé thanks to it being trendy to like true crime.
