To put this in perspective: when I was a kid in the 70s, a huge KISS fan, my father was in his 40s and my grandfather was in his late 60s - Ace is older than my grandfather was back then, and the notion of our grandparents up onstage playing hard rock was impossible .... The song is iconic .. Ace is a legend, and his lead in the song is pretty good - he is 72 years old ... The extended bit afterwards is where he could trim it down a bit ... Go back and watch the 8mm KISS vids from the 70s - there has never been a band like that, and who would have ever thought that the guy in in that band would still be playing 50 years later .. He's been through drugs, alcohol, being the in the greatest band during the greatest era in music history, lyme disease, car accidents, and at 72, he still gets out there and plays ... He's accomplished more than everyone watching this video combined
Atleast he's not like Paul Stanley who is caught lip syncing

There is a good reason for Ace to Say "NO!" to Stanley & Chaim: They earn each 6 Million $ with the two December Shows and he'll get 250.000 $ and both Say "He'll have too much money" 😂 😂 😂
But they KNOW they can only 'Sold out' that Shows if Ace & Peter come too at the Stage for sure... 😂 😊 😅 as long as Paul Daniel & Peter say "NO!" that Shows at the MSG didn't happen in more than a half filled Hall... 😂 Sorry, but that's the Truth. Here in Munich, Germany, 17th July only 2.200 Fans came to a venue with a 5k Capacivity because we missed Ace & Peter too much and that happened Around the Globe...

I saw him about 2 years ago live and he tore it up on stage! Nothing like this at all. Somethings is going on with Ace for sure, but hey he is Ace Fucking Frehley and he doesn't give a fuck! Rock on Ace!
IMO this is not drugs or booze but could be a medical condition that hasn’t been revealed to the public as of yet. His noticeable decline has been rather quick. It began about 4-5 months ago. His speech is slower, his playing is slower, and he seems disoriented. Make of it what you will but this could be a condition. I hope not.

@@smashmachine1144 I hope so too. He probably should be off the road for the remainder of the year but I’m not sure he’s properly managed. I could be wrong but I believe his manager was recently arrested for public intoxication & disorderly conduct. So we have a case of the blind leading the blind. He needs better representation ASAP.

The guy is 72 years old. Give the guy a break. You would all blow him in 77' ... Stop knocking him. Legendary part of the band. Not nice to kick someone down at that age. People have grandfathers and Father's that can't walk or do ordinary things without someone's help. Comments are not nice to someone you looked up to when you were young. Give him props when he is down. How many guys out there could play a chord? This guy went thru hell and back. I buy a ticket any time he is in town. I come from the borough he was born in. Fuckin Legend.
Absolutely. People have gotten worse and worse and meaner and meaner over the years, with the online criticism....trashing something they couldn't dream of doing at 22 much less 72.
I love what Ace is doing, and I appreciate it. We're losing so many musical greats, I love to see the ones who are still here out there and giving their best. Anyone who doesn't want to see it, there's the door -->

Lets be honest, Eric Clapton is well into his late 70s and he can still play fantastic shows. I played with 70 year olds in the past and I learned alot from them. Age may be a factor, but it boils down to whether you care or not.

@@filipe7975o Ace é o meu guitar hero desde sempre, mas... Se ele está com alguma "condição médica" ela vem acometendo ele desde os anos 90. Desde antes da Reunion Tour ele vem tocando mal, mas agora com a idade, tá pior. Detalhe: em 1996 coube ao coitado do Tommy Thayer o trabalho de reensinar o Ace a tocar as músicas da turnê.

His girlfriend is clearly on something or drunk whenever she gets on his facebook to livestream. So of course he's using and/or drinking again. You can't put a recovered addict with someone who uses. They WILL fall off the wagon. Once and addict, always an addict. You can stay clean for 15 years, but all it takes is one enabler, in this case, Lara, and you're back to living in a haze.

Considering the venue, the smallest "Hall" I have ever been to, and I grew up in Plymouth... This has embarrassment written all over it... Super dated material that has not aged well to begin with, guitar skills are on the level of "worst player at guitar center". Basic stuff is eluding his skill level at this age... How much did people pay to see this shit show?
