A recipe reminiscent of what my mom made all the time growing up on the farm after picking fresh tomatoes off the vine.
A Chinese classic for you but I think it's a classic dish for cultures worldwide.
Tomatoes and beef goes together perfectly and is a international comfort food call by different names but the ingredient basics for the dish is the same with variations on sauces, herbs, and other seasonings.
*Thanks for sharing your take on the dish!* Love your chanel.❤

😮what?!??! No garlic? The reason costco beef is so amazing is that they cut it fresh on sight and sell thru quick so its always so fresh which makes a HUGE difference with meat flavor❤❤ this recipe looks amazing! Reminds me of the other Chinese staple beginner food, Tomatoes and Eggs fried in oil with salt. 🤤😋 hao chi!

How funny, I was going to be looking up your tomato and eggs recipe and this one came out today. Have you ever thought about growing Egyptian Walking onions? Thank you for the meal inspiration and I hope you and your family have a lovely Thanksgiving.

My Thai sister made a version of this when she first came to live with us. We all fussed over it and said how delish it was.
She laughed with a bit of a disgusted look and said, “This is what we serve PRISONERS in Thailand!” The equivalent would be her family going crazy for bologna sandwiches!
Now, when we refer to it, we just say we’re making “prison food” for dinner. That’s how it’s listed in our recipe files. “Prison Food.” 😂😂
