The quality of the Fractal sounds is just stunning! Literally mind-blowing how nuanced they are. Bravo on the programming. I designed a great MIDI switching system with real-life amps but it was such a pain to carry and set. Reason I mention it is that, like you, I was happiest when the number of settings I needed was SMALL. The Fractal units’ flexibility makes that possible, with ease. Oh yeah, and, ahem… beautiful playing. Thanks for this exceptional demo.
Neat. Just got a fm9, starting to try to set it up. The options are almost overwhelming. Will have to watch these vids more than once. Learned a lot. Thank you! James
TY for sharing! Word was Ceasar Diez doing SRV amps worked to make the low E timbre defined when snapping the string and it was clean. Then he worked to make the B and E strings fatter and singing. That was pretty much of a head scratcher how to do this since all the strings worked off the same EQ in the analog world but that was where Caesar dropped us off at the curb. However, I do not think you have any problem in this digital virtual reality of tube amp modding. ... Now you have a blue one of those... those Music Man guitars are sooo good! WTG!
Thanks for sharing this info, Cooper. I like the way this preset is set up, and how you kept it all on-screen without Zooming. I’m going to work on replicating this one as my first FM9T project. It’ll be a good practical lesson. I’m used to the Axe Fx, but the switching possibilities here are pretty sweet!
One thing that trips me up with this and the FM9 is customizing the layouts - I don't really want to mess with the OMFG9 layout, so I am afraid to venture outside of that 'box'
Read about the Fractal's FC Per-Preset overrides. They don't make a global change to the layout, they only do it when a particular preset is running. They'll solve the problem you're worried about.
This is fantastic. Such an amazing master gig preset. I will try to make something as best as I can similarly. Do you plan to release this on the AxeChange?
Trouble im having is once i send it to the front of house, it doesnt sound as rich...sounds tiny and scratchy..ive tried all the tone hints from you, rosh, leon, etc. What are you dialing in on the mixer board for highs, mids, and bass?
Hi Cooper im a guitarist and i live in italy i play guitar almost over 5 years now i play 80s style its my dream one day going in America to play guitar it with you 🎸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌟🌟⭐⭐🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌞🌞🌞🌞🎸🎸⭐🎸 Its my dream to play a jam with you

Wow! Amazing rhythm playing @ 3min40sec; and what a run of notes between 3min47sec and 3min58sec! Beautiful playing and clean tone!

Went straight to my FM9 to try to emulate this patch and it sounds great, thanks!
