    If the last thing you syphoned had solids, remove the bottom part for inspection and clean out if needed before sanitizing.

    So…. I ended up breaking my auto siphon because I couldn’t get the tubing off. Even after The piece broke, I still couldn’t get the tube off so I just threw it all away. Any suggestions on how to remove the tubing safely??

    Every pump send a pump of air back into the mead stirring the lees. What am I doing wrong please? Or do I have a broken siphon? Cheers

    I see the receiving container has had some bubbles in there? I take it is from the sanitizer and if so how much would be acceptable? Or is it just more of a "get most of it out" type thing?

      As long as it's not a puddle, it's all good. This is only the case if you follow the no-rinse dilution rate, though!

    My syphon ends up with a small bit of liquid inside it that shoots out the top, how does that happen?
