Furthermore it would be very nice if you could explain how you priorities the mods on items, for example why you think MF is better than replenish life. For a casual ladder player (like me) it felt good to put couple of points into summons. In normal and nightmare they provide easy meat shield and also protect the Act 2 mercenary nicely. In hell they felt even better to just make it easier to control mobs under volcano and fissure. I maxed armageddon, molten boulter and volcano in hell and with the pack of wolves, bear and merc the druid seems to kill almost anything pretty well. Except maybe Baal and bosses, because he doesn't have static field or similar.
yeah.. the last mini boss pack just before Baal was nuts. The minions gave 20-25% of a lvl and the MB itself gave 1.18-1.2 levels I think. Timelapse: 2h22m -2h23m25s.
Hey llama now that the game gets more or less regular updates it might be useful to put the time when this was originally recorded and the patch you are playing on in the description so people watching this a year from now can figure out if play styles still work and bugs are still in the game

I always loved the fissure skill. It is a shame it doesn't do fire and physical to be more viable in higher difficulties like bolder and volcano. Is there a resource for what skills work with mana per kill? Actually, what is the goto D2R resource in general?
Maxroll is a great option. Very professional and well organised. I know Llama is an advocate and contributor to IcyVeins, also good, but I prefer Maxroll.

Quick casting is actually why I prefer magic characters on the controller because it just feels more intuitive to just have the spells ready and tap them once.
Quick cast is also kinda nice on a pitzerker barb for all of your howling needs. I usually have LC Zerk RC tele then binding for Howl to mash when I find an elite pack and then find item set to right click on my alt weapons
I just started a fire druid about 3 days . right now I'm running through killing everything with firestorm and smoldering Boulder. at what level would it be a good time to respec to wind? fire druid is really fun but I plan on my end game build being wind.
I was wanting to know if it's possible to shop a oak sage summon for a sorceress? Also like to shop a defiance orra for a sorceress? That way an act 5 merc can get the buffs and be my tank.

So, I am not super familiar with how damage 'conversion' in d2 works, or if that's even the right term. But would it be viable on a fire druid to have for instance, a lower res wand, and an amp damage wand, to boost their fire and phys damage, depending on the situation? That might have huge opportunity cost, requiring a weapon slot AND a backup, but it might be an option.
You’re gonna really want teleport, so either enigma or teleport staff. But it’s not uncommon for trapsins to have a lower res wand, so I don’t see why you couldn’t for fire Druid. Even if it’s just inventory swapping for bosses.
If the fire elemental druid is the undisputed early game powerhouse, then what class build would come in second as the next strongest early game badass? Edit: I was just wondering - since fissure does so much damage early on, could you start pumping points into a non fire attack skill to be your alternate elemental damage to deal with the pesky fire immune monsters in later difficulties? Cause it's not like you're gonna miss the damage that a few extra points would give you since it already hits so hard. So basically make a hybrid elemental attacker? I'm not an expert on the game so idk how effective this idea would be, but to me it seems like it might work. Or possibly put points into the bear summon and also build up your merc too. Would that work?
I have a hardcore summon druid going into hell. I have a act 3 fore merc for enchant and he stays alive by staying away from mobs. Is that the right merc?

Once you will reach NM, or better yet, once you will reach level 30, your first top priority should be save enough skill points to spend on the summoning tree at one point each for the whole zoo, this is the most important key of any Druid build after 2.4.
Now that you are a man with a mustache, you don't say: please like and subscribe. BUT: I hope to earn your subsribtion and people will like it because that.
Resistance and HP is generally overrated for 2.4 caster Druid build because once you can have your animals and merc shielding for you, you will be better off to spend your points on mana once you will enter NM and through hell. Obviously, after you will get insight and other better gears, you can respec again. Another key I want to mention is even you are a fire Druid, you will find yourself struggle more vs physical immune uniques than just fire immune because you have so much physical damage, the best option for you is to find a gavel of pain on your offhand.
I cant see Druid is any good, the only thing he can do is getting a 2Handed Doom Weapon to play a really cool Wind Fury Build, anything else feels slow and sloppy, never Druid for me again.

It affects all fire skills in the game. Holy fire, assassin traps, druid fire skills, sorc fire skills, corpse explosion(50% is fire damage)

It's a very fun build. Everything that isn't fire-immune is chaff. And then you reach Hell difficulty.
