    Potential meeting
Aurangzeb invited Guru Gobind Singh to meet him, but the Guru was in Tilakwandi, Punjab at the time. He was on his way to the meeting in Rajasthan when he heard that Aurangzeb had died. Some believe that the Guru was going to meet Aurangzeb to regain Anandpur.

    Siege of Anandpur
The Rajput rulers of the Shivalik Hills, with the support of Aurangzeb, laid siege to Anandpur in May 1705. Guru Gobind Singh formed two armies to fight the Mughals and the hill tribes. After months of fighting, the attackers offered safe passage, and the Guru and his followers evacuated Anandpur in December 1705.❤😊

    Zafarnama
After the Mughal army killed many of his family and fellow Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh wrote a letter to Aurangzeb called Zafarnama ("epistle of victory"). In the letter, Guru Gobind Singh accused Aurangzeb and his commanders of being immoral and unjust, and predicted the end of the Mughal Empire. He also invited Aurangzeb to meet him in Kangar village, but Aurangzeb broke his promise of safe passage.
