v Liz, I would love a fancy billing course lol! I will charge a code on top of regular billing for things like EKG interpretation, cerumen lavage, PHQ9, ect- but I am sure there is way more!

Hi! Thank you for your question. I recommend asking the office manager/ billing department recommendations for this quick text. It Is important to find out what your local insurance payer requires, specifically for time based documentation.

This is determined by the medical decision making. Utilizing tools such as Evaluation and Management Quick Guide can be helpful in day to day calculating.

Can an RN in private practice bill OHIP?

This question should be directed to OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) directly. As based on your home state and practice they are likely to have specific guidelines to bill. In a brief review I found this link to be helpful place to start:
