I missed out on photographing jets in star wars canyon. Even though it is legal now for the public, I read that all roads to star wars canyon are closed or blocked. I would take a ride if I could get up and watch any planes flying the canyon. What a bad __s machine. Very cool.
Never understand why they have the camera on the pilot's faces and not a camera looking straight ahead with the pilots view, or maybe behind the pilot looking forward and showing the panel and his control movements.
Pretty awesome to see this view after watching the other vid from the canyon with all of the other aircraft doing passes. This is a sweet plane for sure! 👍🏻 🇺🇸
This may seem like a silly question but… do the GoPro cameras on the wings etc degrade the performance of airplanes they are affixed to? I’m suspecting they do, only if it’s minimally… but I’m curious if the FAA published bulletins or calculation scales as to how many cameras or wing types they can be attached to before it becomes too deleterious to the aircraft?

One road was closed but another road was still good
Thanks for the beautiful views Erik!

I think it's silly also.... especially if it's my face
An OTS shot or over the shoulder shot.
Better angle is one Drag Racers and Road Racers use, with small action camera mounted to the side of the helmet.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Sweet, I'm glad you got to document this Erik!
Conditions could not have been better, it was a fantastic morning!
Couldn't agree more! It was awesome!!
Love the Stryper jet!
The USAF banned going below the rim of Star Wars Canyon. Enter at own risk for everyone else.
Too many Womp-Rats were getting bullseyed...🎯
Let's bring that falcon 8x again!
Haha, "Bitchin' Betty" sure was making a lot of steam!
Wonder if anyone's done this canyon with an FPV equiped RC Jet, Warbird or Wing, it'd be pretty spectacular down on the deck.
Very cool! Sharing 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
This viewpoint was closed in late November 23 (idk if it still is) for road repairs due to Hurricane Hillary.
Cool.

"Incoming from Stonehenge."
Which 360 camera and mounting system was used? Gotta be beefy enough to handle the airspeed!
Why is Betty saying "pull-up" when the nose is vertical?
Wow
Butter 🧈
😎
Torpedoes Away!!
What airspeed?
Around 250 sometimes more
