I sadly produce a lot of oil as well , but recently I’ve started to moisturize then put a thin layer of powder and push it in my skin with a sponge , then put on foundation and proceed with my normal makeup routine and it works like magic !! Keeps me matte all day and my makeup looks much smoother all day . Hope this helps you as well
mirandamarie i feel you one the oily skin my makeup always slides off too but I have recently found that the kat von d lock it foundation does not slide off if paired with a good primer and set with powder.its my holy grail foundation.you should definitely give it a go.
Omg girl totally feel you, some setting sprays can make you break out I guess it's just a matter of luck in finding your holy grail perfect one but I'm sure you'll find your perfect one !! My acne was quite bad but I got prescribed 'duac' by my doctor here and since then I've never broken out on my chest so try visiting your doctor, your so beautiful regardless xx lots of love from here in England
Acne is the worst. But I am so glad to hear that you were able clear your skin. If my acne persists, I will have to go to a dermatologists as well. Thank you for sharing your story and what has helped you. I don't wish acne on anyone but it's nice to know that I am not alone in the struggle... 😘 PS England is beautiful, you are so lucky to live there! I think the NYX setting spray works for a good 2-4 hours, but in hot and humid Texas, this makes it a no-go, so I decided to purchase Urban Decay's All nighter setting spray. Hopefully, that will work for me.
I have UD All Nighter and LOVE it! I think it worked great. It doesn’t help me with oil production too much but it locks me makeup in place. Sending love to Texas! 😘
This is terribly helpful. I bought the NYX setting spray (haven't used it yet) so I wanted to see some reviews to see if I should return it because the urban decay will be on sale on Saturday. I need one because I'll be visiting texas! I will be traveling but maybe I can get my hands on UD!

@@neematm8266 what i discovered is, using my setting spray as a primer. Spray it and blend your foundation quickly. Finish your makeup then you can spray a little bit at the end then finish with a bit of finishing powder. This keeps me matte from 7 am to 9pm. I hope it helps
Honestly ur makeup looks just as good as it did when you first put spray on just a lil shiny but a lil blotting will take care of that but all in all it looks good ..I just got same product it kept my makeup put for more than 9 hours I really like it

I love Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless. It's inexpensive, has a good amount of coverage, comes in a lot of colors and it hasn't caused me any acne. 😊
Have you tried Estée Lauder Double Wear? That one is really good and high coverage. Also Make Up For Ever is a great everyday foundation (I wear it a lot) it's a higher-end version of the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. Also GA Luminous Silk foundation is a good one if you are looking to get a dewy-ish finish. :)
I've been using NYX for two yrs now and I never broke out I have sevear acne break outs every now and then when my face is clear I use it I don't break out and it's coming from a medium 🤣

what do you recommend? I have an oily tzone and am thinking I get a fixing spray but most of them seem hydrating. which is best for a matte effect?
