Drill Music - Chief Keef (changed the way music videos were made, classic tracks and had the most believability in street cred).
Conscious Rap - Nas (best storyteller in hip-hop, brought back conscious rap in the 2000s during the materialistic era, singles were mostly conscious based.
Mumble Rap - Young Thug (voice is an instrument, most entertaining in the subgenre, still trying to decipher his verse from "Lifestyle")
Experimental Rap - Ye (fka Kanye West)
Gangsta Rap - 50 Cent (GRODT is the best gangsta rap album of all-time, storytelling was incredible there, real life story helped his image)
Emo Rap - Kid CuDi (the pioneer)
Horrorcore Rap - Eminem (honorable mention to early Tyler, the Creator)
Psychedelic Rap - Travis Scott
Jazz Rap - Q-Tip of ATCQ (honorable mention to Digable Planets, Black Thought and Blu)
L pop smoke is the goat of drill
kid cudi emo rap 😂😂
Pop rap is drake without a doubt, no one does it like him .
Drake sucks ASSSSS. Kanyes graduation is better than every single drake album combined.
Not even mentioning Immortal technique in the conscious rap category has personally affected me 😢😢

I love ur guys explanation on the emo rap GOAT and agree on a lot of points but I gotta go juice wrld… imo he has the best album out of anyone there and juices music has the best replay value for me personally
And as always this is a common nfr W video
Trap - Future. I agree with Ant on this one and definitely see Lu's point.
Pop - Drake. No question
Drill - No opinion. Don't listen to drill, like at all.
Conscious - Lupe Fiasco. His entire catalogue is dedicated to it, and I also think there is no better rapper than him period.
Mumble - No opinion. I don't listen to enough mumble rap to have a strong opinion.
Experimental - MF DOOM. For sure! JPEGMAFIA is a close second too.
Gangsta Rap - The Game. Underrated artist imo, has carried himself as that type of rapper his entire career.
Emo - Atmosphere. The pioneers of emo rap (early 2000's) they have evolved so much throughout their career. It's been fascinating growing up with them, till today. Their music has evolved to keep up with my experiences. They went from rapping about heart break to addictions to taking over the world to becoming a parent to growing old and accepting their impending doom. Atmosphere is my all time favorite Hip Hop duo.
Horrorcore - Brotha Lynch Hung. Really yall, Eminemt? lol you guys need to broaden your horizons. Check out Dinner and Movie (one of the best horrorcore/concept albums) or Necro - Gory Days and let me know if Eminem is still the best horrorcore rapper.
Psychedelic - ASAP Rocky. Respect for Flat Bush
Jazz - Tribe. No question. Shoutout Blu! He would be my #2
Death grips>DOOM.Kendrick > Lupe
No Cudi on psychedelic is wild to me
Guru the jazzmatic gets the jazz spot for me personally
Big W
@@NFRPodcast yessir boys! Love the podcast happy i found yall. (Hes also known more famously as gang starr with producer dj premier)
Rip GURU
I felt like you should have split experimental rap to abstract (Mf doom, Earl Sweatshirt) and industrial (JPEGMAFIA, Danny Brown). You could have also added alternative (Tyler, The Creator, Childish Gambino) Also, you should do a similar video like this, but with albums. Still a great video
Danny brown and Peggy not industrial though
Schoolboy Q < Pusha T < Freddie Gibbs
Please have UK rap with part 2
