Mainline Steam Battles The Heat 11/05/2024

2 mainline steam locos on the same day in this video as we see 2 mainline steam locos battle the heat.
We 1st by seeing the mainline steam tribal chief SNGLT's 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley doing a 1 way working for Steam Dreams from Euston to Chester via the WCML.
We headed to Rugeley Trent Valley however the hope of a high speed run was denied after Network Rail closed the down slow between Rugeley & Colwich Junction only for the down slow to reopen 15 minutes after the A4 had went by.
5 hours later headed to Lancashire to see Ian Riley's Black 5 44871 working The Railway Touring Company's The Cumbrian Mountain Express while on the return run from Carlisle to Preston.
At the summit of Ramsgreave & Wilpshire at Brownhill as we see the loco reach the top which is where we end this video.
