Get well soon. The hand has good collateral circulation and you can lift any weight with your hand after healing. I think the problem may be due to injury of a tendon. Consult your doctor and he will assure you. Best wishes.

How much deep do you want? It is already deep except at the lower end of the radius where it can be felt.
