this remains the best football song ever written
There is nothing about this that isn't utterly brilliant
Pant wetting

Just coming!
12 years on…you’re not wrong.
I have sung it in my head when watching any football match, tournament or computer game since 1997
this song has been on the juke box at one of my local pubs for years.. I love putting it on and annoying the locals.
I hope it's still there 9 years later 🤣
If it's on the jukebox then it must be played
Ah, coming in drunk and watching Adam & Joe... those were the days.
You sir, are old!
"...When I go see Villa, my view is blocked by a concrete pillar..."
I don't know why I love that line as much as I do.
Bouche1985 it's the (possibly unintentional) deadpan/fed up expression of the kid miming it
"When I go see Rovers, I wear my Rovers pullovers" always stick in my head.
That's the most memorable line. I remember from the original broadcast.
Same
I do for poor Grealish fans!
The memories of watching Channel 4 in the late 90s
This song will get dusted off until I die, I loved that show and everything they've done. The world needs more Adam and Joe.
'Foot + kick + ball = goal.'
I have to say I'm astounded by the amount of knowledge these guys have about football, I'm learning a lot here! Love their show. Miss it!
This video deserves way more views. A classic. Whenever I see Aston Villa playing on TV I think of a concrete pillar thanks to this song.
This song is legendary. A true football song classic the great British public can be proud of. Thank you Adam and Joe, you are inspirational 🙇🏼♀️
Oh god, how I would love to have a football song by people who don't give a toss about football reach number 1 in the charts.
And then it gets chanted through all the stadiums! BALL BALL BALL! FOOTIE FOOTIE FOOTIE!
Like 'World in Motion' perhaps? :D
I was 14/15 years old when this song was on TV and I loved it so much! I bought a compilation CD which had it on it and I played it over and over! The Adam & Joe Show was event television for me! :D Love it still now and I'm 36! :D
Best Footie song ever!
Glenn Hoddle is having a goal!
So many memorable lines
Getting ready for England V Denmark tonight, Euro 202(0/1). Three Lions isn't the only song that should be blasted through the Wembley speakers...
Hoping they play this at Wembley for Euro 202(1/2) for England vs Germany/France...
'It becomes less boring' is what elevates this song to genius.
This was the song that got me into Adam and Joe in the first place. Even though I like football, I found myself laughing at this regardless. Yes, it's a gentle dig at football and it's fans but it's all in good fun and you should be able to laugh at yourself now and again.
God damn it I miss the 90s
I can’t believe I have never heard this until now! 😂 love it
Never grows old :) x
Just as good as when I heard this when it first aired on TV!
This is the first time i've heard the full single though!
‘When the teams change ends, it’s time to talk tactics with my friends’ loooool 😂
My perfect World Cup antidote! Remember laughing my ass off in the 90s to this!
Watching this again before the World Cup final 2022. Still sums it up perfectly haha
Whenever I feel down I come here and it immediately cheers me up again. Thanks!
Has to be the most under rated and probably the best football songs ever....FACT.
I remember this from the original broadcast. Loved staying up til past my parents were in bed to watch your show. I still sing this song and now I’ve got my 9 year old singing it!
Me too! My daughter loves it :D
23 years old and as fresh as the day they wrote it
Tonight’s game brought me straight here....the only place to be
Ah excellent, I always loved this; happy you went back and made it more awesome!
this is the catchiest footy song ever. Ball, ball, ball
Footy footy footy!
Me and my friends have been singing this literally every day since it first appeared on A&J! Now we've got new verses to learn! :)
I used to love staying up late, getting high and watching Adam and Joe... Happy days!
I'm still doing it 😅
Still love this, best football song ever!
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
+MrPixelMoney What was Wenger thinking, sending Walcott on that early?
+Super Flash the thing about Arsenal is they always try and walk it in.
True. See you later MrPixelMoney
Mind 'ow ya go
Lmfao
And in 2018 I'm watching again!
I love how this was clearly written by people who aren't into football. They're just reeling off all the football-related words they can think of
Or better yet it was written by someone who really loves football and has a wicked sense of humour.
I know who is correct here
I'm singing this on Sunday.
'Nice' lmao live this even in 2018
Glenn Hoddle is having a goal! Wonderful memories of singing this.
I remember this first time around, needs a release!
when I go see Leeds...they seem to achieve a lot of high ball speeds!
Still a classic!!! After all these years.... (sigh)
Just come here after watching England vs Colombia, think this is my new victory song
Getting in the mood for the fa cup final.
This is twice as long as the televised version! Wheeeee!
bless them, they look so young!
Still capturing the true spirit of the beautiful game after over 25 years
Honestly this was hysterical the first time I saw it and it just gets better. Everyone in it is behaving perfectly. It's a good fucking song, as well.
By far the best football song ever! It should be the next official England FC single!
Yes I agree now with Grealish at Villa Kane for Spurs and Southgates Having a Goal🤣
This song is making sure Football Is Coming Home in 2021…!
And today I have been sharing this round every facebook group I am a member of. Because it's awesome!!
Blasting this with the windows down all round town.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the BEST football song ever! ⚽
Oh wow, not seen this extended version before. Perfectly timed for the World Cup, Cheers Buckles!
ALWAYS has been one of my faves - thanks for posting my lovley
Damn this takes me back
The Adam and Joe show was the best thing on telly, and I'll fight anyone who disagrees
i used to sing this when i was a kid in the playground
same in it, it was sick
Ten year old comment WOW!
Joe's voice really does sound like Ian Broudie of the Lightning Seeds!
yay! i say yay for it is i like this!
adam and joe make my laughs happen out of my mouth!
fantastic! thanks !
Bring it back for the world cup
I still have this on some football compilation album... it's the best song on it.
Seeing England win today made me wanna come straight here!
Came here before and after the semi and will give it another blast before the trip to Wembley this weekend...🏟
I could not stop laughing when they said footie😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glenn Hoddle is having a goal!
my kids bloody love this song
Adam and Joe are the two funniest men in the world. Thumbs up if you agree!
ha ha ive been singing this all week :D wooo
What do you do with the ball? STICK IT IN THE GOAL,STICK IT IN THE GOAL
Goes well with the _Sensible World of Soccer_ FMV intro sequence.
When I go see Chelsea, I spend half the match in a queue for a wee wee.
This sounds like the sort of tripe that made its way onto a Pro Evolution Soccer soundtrack back in the days. Expertly executed!
Not a sports fan but am about to start at a sport related company over summer. Listening to this on repeat should inspire me...
Still the GOAT
another classic one there dr buckles thanks
im lucky enough to have this on vinyl thanks to the magic of charity shops :D
MIDI / error !!
This was on the Sky Sports album I used to have and it was stolen!
Holy shit it's here! My favourite song from the show!
:O AWESOME! Thanks for the extended version, Bucky!
Whoa! Extended version! Awesome.
Saw this at the 100 club, nice one for uploading, just needs an official release!!!
This video was used in Joe's pitch for the Ant-Man script. Not a lot of people know that.
Thsi needs to be the next world Cup song.
Just watched this again, as American Style Sportball has begun again, and my 3 year old daughter started dancing. "AGAIN!"
You guys look so young!
I remember watching this on an old Black and white tv I had found in my attic, I was 12 and loved the Adam and Joe show!
I love this and you guys so much...
If I knew about this when I was FORCED to play football at school, that would have been the end of that.
I have entered my friend's fantasy football league with a time comprised purely of players called Adam or Joe (or close enough). It's a bold strategy that I expect will pay off.
This song got me through my freshman year of college
Eating M+Ms
zzppapaßoo
This always makes me think of _Sensible Soccer_ .
awesome song
24 years old. Not last year, like it feels
If this had replaced 3 Lions, England might have won something in the last quarter century.
Why is this not more popular than 3 Lions?
It's as good isn't it?
FOOT BALL BALL BALL BALL, BALL BALL BALL FOOT, FOOT KICK BALL GOAL!!
2:41 very accurate after the recent transfer window
I have been singing this for months damn you! I love though! :-)
Fooooooooooour-niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiil!
legendary :-)
I forgot Adam and Joe used to be young once.
The Adam and Joe show has to be the funniest show I've ever seen. The song is different on the best of dvd though and I don't know why.
Because when they originally did it for Channel 4, it was just a sketch for the TV series. But people liked the song, so it was slated for a commercial vinyl / CD release - they got as far as a complete re-recording, several remixes, a promo 12" and a promo video (i.e. this clip) - but it was never actually released, for whatever reason.
Best line: I've got a rat...tle
