Whos here in summer 2024 getting reminders of what you need to pack next weekend? Good job I did, I almost forgot to pack my kids, the collapsible yurt and a bag of whizz wozz!
Oh god, what a perfectly wonderful song. It totally reminds me of some place or other I went with Tabitha and the kids last August. We had a marvellous time - little Arabella and St John spent the weekend doing Baby Yoga and Tibetan Disco with a friend of Tabithas while we got absolutely smashed off some pills my friend Sebastian bought back from Tunisia. I can't really remember too much and Tabitha gave birth to black twins in May but it was jolly good fun and Moby really was top notch.
Now that's interesting... this comment clearly relates to a different Adam Buxton video. How did this happen? Went to comment but actually pressed Back on your browser so you were on the previous video you watched? I've nearly done that before.
This. I think this song pretty much sums up Greenman. I even heard the sound guys play this out the PA when some band had finished playing on the main stage in the day.
love the bit about the 'advert stage'. so true, half the people at these festivals don't go for the music and don't even know these bands, just heard their songs on adverts
Love that you have put this version up, simply laughed myself stupid when you showeds this at comedy rocks in Jersey. Still remember the podcast when you first played this and it gets better
Just wanna say I love hoqw the recommended videos after the Counting Song are all genuine kids animations/songs and comments are disabled so no one can give the game away. Well Trolled Mr Buxton, well Trolled :D Have to leave the comment here because ... comments are disabled on the counting song :P
Another masterpiece from the Buxton stable! Dunno if you remember me but I did that rock version of the Text The Nation jingle. You did a great job on the vox man. I'm still walking around with a glow of chuffedness. Anyway, just thought I'd offer my musical services again should you require them. I do other genres of music apart from rock, including pop, reggae, and 14th century baroque. And bossanova. Hey don't diss the Boss. If you're up for another collab, gimme a hoot. Cheers Lee
Dear Adam. Glad to see you are still at it (not tuned in much since the A&J Show in the 90s). I am just about to set off for Latitude 2014 with family and your song has acted like some kind of anti-festival bollocks tetanus jab. You are clearly providing a valuable public service. Keep up the good work!
"So could you call....Jemima.... and ask her to bring..... a bit of rice, jelly and a big ball of string!!!" Loved this back on the original podcast, one of my faves.
ooof - i enjoyed that mr buxton. i lolled about to it. has it gotten more biting? - the advert stage bit seems like new and excellent work towards undermining bad things. thanks mr buxton x
Fairplay to the sound guys...its the only place you find real festival people these days is on the crews (well down south anyway its the only way we can afford to get in lol
@planetyes The sad thing is its so real mate-go to a festival in the south of England nowadays and you'll find they are all like this. The guy who wrote this song has definately been to a few southern festivals

Good job I did, I almost forgot to pack my kids, the collapsible yurt and a bag of whizz wozz!
I love the idea of Adam doing this on his own, in his shed, probably into the early hours.

You, Sir, are a jolly old japer!

I have seen this too many times, and I can't stop - COVID-19 lockdown period. Thanks Dr. Buckles for helping keep me smile. Love you, bye.
I wish Adam Buxton was my dad.
one of the most intensely sticky "earworms" I have ever heard... utter genius anthem for poshos everywhere ;)
Still works. Wonderful stuff, Buckles
I have heard this song so many times now... I cant get enough
Great live rendition on radio4 earlier in the week. I love his bug sessions too, go see them!! Great wizwaz. Really great. GREAT!

I just love that your boy there mouths the other actors lines when it’s not his turn.
Great song, great track, fun visuals - and great chaotic kids!

I’m enjoying the ‘groove is in the heart’ effects. You need a big revolving podium to dance on.
This is definitely my favourite songwars, makes me smile like a loon

Green man 2012, he was amazing, hilarious! Hope to see bug again.
Love that you have put this version up, simply laughed myself stupid when you showeds this at comedy rocks in Jersey. Still remember the podcast when you first played this and it gets better
This was the best thing on in the UA-cam field.
I blame mobile phones for the death of the British festival.
GREEN MAN! So many people like this there last year hoho.
Absolute legend

I reckon that was probably UA-cam mis-identifying it as kids content rather than anything else, but even funnier if it was a deliberate choice.
I want a big buxton hug. Would cheer me right up.
