@@notsorandumusername It’s not trance mate, sorry but in the late 90’s and early 00’s, trance was a different scene than the one I was into - trance was cheesy Judge Jules, Gatecrasher cyber kid type stuff. The DJ’s that played this tune like Sasha, Digweed, Howells, Lawler etc were not trance, they played prog house.
@@lucasm3879 - bang on mate - way too trippy for trance - . verging on tech house/ GU breakbeat - pretty sure i've heard digweed play this. there's a killer dark remix in there if you lose the strings, piano and huge breakdown. it's good to be pedantic =)
I was given this maxi cd remixes by my bosses sister before she died in the restaurant at the Twin Towers on 9=11. She knew I liked New Order and had this but didnt like it. RIP Lisa G
A lot of tunes from 2001 are tinged with the memory of 9/11 for me unfortunately, this is one of them. Still great music but the associations still there at the back of my mind.
Is it even possible to find it now a days? Es posible encontrarlo para comprar estos días? Hay tantos temas de mi época que no puedo encontrar en beatport ni en ningún lado…
@@lucasm3879 it's hard to make the percussion and off kilter emphasis work with other tracks. Sure it might be beatmatched but it will not sound good with 90% of your collection. At least in my experience.
@@barryschalkwijk9388 Yeah I understand what you mean, but I think as long as it’s the right time signature, you can make it work by being creative and selecting the right tune to mix in/ out, where the extra percussive elements on this augment the other tune. That’s what the best house DJ’s used to do regularly in the 90’s in the days of vinyl only - almost make a ‘new’ track in the transition by combining both tunes. That’s with just two decks and a mixer, no extra effects, CDJ’s or anything.
I played this 100s of times on vinyl. Sad that some of the streaming services don't have this or many other classics
This is THE one.
Sums it up perfectly. You are bang on, sir.
5:00 oh my... 🫨🫨🫨
Goosebumps
😮 My insides are…just feeling so much. Amazing the power that music has. Beautiful. ❤
1997 - 2004 were the golden years for trance and this is one of the many greats from that area that cemented it.
It’s more Prog tribal house than Trance… I don’t think you could ever call Lee Coombs a Trance producer
@@lucasm3879 Stop being pedantic, enjoy the music.

Already crankin up the views and thumbs ups despite it being uploaded years ago on another channel. Just goes to show the sheer quality realy.

I still have this vinyl somewhere

Wow... I used to walk around NYC just after 9/11 listening to this on my headphones

Barraca 2003
so sick. a bitch to mix in though.
I'd mix it in after fadin away (dima remix), or outhouse, some lcd works too.
It’s a 4/4 beat, it’s not that hard to mix?
