Lyrics:
We're like crystal
(Hey)
We break easy
(Hoo)
I'm a poor man
(Hey)
If you leave me
(Hoo)
I'm applauded
(Hey)
Then forgotten
It was summer
(Hey)
Now it's autumn
(Hoo)
I don't know what to say
You don't care anyway
I'm a man in a rage
With a girl I betrayed
Here comes love
It's like honey
You can't buy it with money
You shook me to the core
You shook me to the core
We're like crystal
(Hey)
It's not easy
(Hoo)
With your love
(Hey)
You could feed me
(Hoo)
Every man
(Hey)
And every woman
(Hoo)
Needs someone
(Hey)
So keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
I don't know what to say
You don't care anyway
I'm a man in a rage
With a girl I betrayed
Here comes love
It's like honey
You can't buy it with money
You're not alone anymore
You shook me to the core
You shook me to the core
I don't know what to say
You don't care anyway
I'm a man in a rage
With a girl I betrayed
Here comes love
It's like honey
You can't buy it with money
You're not alone anymore
You shook me to the core
You shook me to the core
You shook me to the core
You shook me to the core
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming
Keep it coming

I need to see my favorite band even if just once before I leave this earth 🤪
I can still remember the first time I saw the video for the song...
I was immediately enthusiastic and of course I was impressed by the bassline!
The whole album is class !!
Same, I was a new fan having recently discovered their back catalogue. Was confused at first thinking they looked too young in the 'crystal' music video until I realised they had young actors playing their instruments. At least that was the video released in Australia
What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: ua-cam.com/video/AxzgoGhou2U/v-deo.html Very well done!
The best band!!!
Great track from one of Manchester's finest. Love it.
What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: ua-cam.com/video/AxzgoGhou2U/v-deo.html Very well done!
I love New Order and Joy Division!
Me too!! 🙌🤘
They both iconic bands, it's just sooo sad Hooky and Bernard fell out.. 😢
And Electronic too....
Great song. You gotta move when you hear it. New Order still going after 40+ years.
Shock me to the core I got goosebumps ✌️
This song is just hypnotic
Great band been a fan since I was 10 now 50😬
My favorite band!
Love this band I've been rocking with new order since their low life album ✌🏽
This song I love this song so much, I remember when I was twelve and saw the video for the first time
Stephen, this amazing guy at the drums!!!!
The 'Human Metronome'
Was 16 when get ready came out.. almost 40 now, still 💥 every time I listening that amazing lp .. but early works 82-84 and ofc JD ❤️
❤ass kicking music
From the first day I listened to it after opening the CD, it became one of the essentials in the soundtrack of my life. other than that
it was the best tribute they could do to Ian.
What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: ua-cam.com/video/AxzgoGhou2U/v-deo.html Very well done!
Tribute to Ian? you mean elegia? that song was written for Ian. This came out decades later and Bernard Sumner has even said the lyrics don't really mean anything
@@zygmanfroid9709 that album has more of a "Joy" sound to it, plus it was released shortly before the 20th anniversary of Ian's departure. Without a doubt, this is how Joy Division would have sounded at the turn of the millennium.
Awesomeness.
A top NO tune & one of my favorites! 💃💙
Love this band since I was 13. Oh fook I'm 47 now. God bless the Vikings!!!
Alway the best
incroyable version ! Ian est toujours là grâce à vous / Merci Mister Summer
After listening you guys for the first time back in 94 when I was kid, I waited the rest of the 90s waiting for a new album. Hence Get Ready became my favourite one. Love you guys.
Живите долго,радуйте нас вечно ! Любимый New Order!!!
I am 59 today🙏 l still love this band✌️✌️🇩🇰
Is it just me or does anyone else LOVE the intro and wish @neworder would release a longer version of it? It is sooo soothing to listen too. I use it for meditation. The Piano tune that starts out and plays through, underneath the whole tune. Then comes in the "strings" sounding chords. THEN comes in this woman's beautiful voice. I used Audicy and created my own mp3 just of it.
Merveilleux
Essa é clássica 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Maravilhosa como quase tudo que o New Order faz !
Como siempre,excelente!!!!
God bless New Order
Hermoso
Madre de Dios!!! Esto es New Order!!!!

Es una lastima que las nuevas generaciones se pierdan de esto simplemente es magia #neworder

Hope I get a chance to go to your live concert in my lifetime
The best
I got to know them through this song
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Not a big NO fan but this track is unbelievably good - It comes across so well live, too.
I've just noticed that Bernard sings "It was Sumner" instead of "It was summer" here
Or maybe he's just messing up his part as usual, who knows
Since when did Bernard Sumners vocal turn into Paul Heaton
The Killers 🤍
Prefiero la versión en Finsbury park
You have a monster on bass. I was on that gig. So fook the rain
...
@@jumofi - Is it the World Cup starting today ? ;-) Fantastic Concert !!!
Singing live is not Bernard Sumner's forte
Jesus on the bassguitar ! 🙂
New Order's last great song IMO. Would have made for an excellent swan song.
IMO, it's even their best, musically, in the album version with the long instrumental part before the finale. Ofc, Blue Monday was their greatest hit and will remain their signature anthem, but Crystal and then Plastic have the best dance grooves, I think. Knowing NO for close to 40 years now, I still love most of their work from Ceremony thru Sirens' Call, while Be A Rebel can't really convince me anymore. I'm afraid Bernard's voice has just grown old and worn thin, unfortunately... Long live their preserved recordings!
PS: Hooky's really missing in the lineup. And maybe Plastic should've been the swan 🦢 song...
one of the better songs off maybe their worst album
Vicious streak and primitive notion are brilliant.
Ah the end of New Order.....
Welcome to New Order V2.01 - Poor Bernadette's Vocals have gone too 🫣
