Verdansk survival mode by Dave is imo immensely underrated (he added a bonus verse onto his song Verdansk hence “survival mode”) the wordplay is immaculate, no doubt some of it will go over your heads but don’t worry it took me 10 listens and a genius check to get them all 😂

I know it was a first listen so understandably you tend to miss stuff, but you were so off base on few things I have to comment. At 11:30, it wasn’t about the woman not believing or being insecure. Dave stated on the previous lines that she saw Dave wasn’t ready yet. ”she knows me and that's probably why she told me You ain't ready for a girl, you're still a little kid that's Gettin' ready for the world and you don't need that kinda burden” 13:45, she wasn’t trying to ”live a model life” or ”get the balance back”. Nor were the other rappers trying to get her into a video. She’s a photographer shooting live shows. She was more or less done with Dave so she started doing other artists’ shows again, because photography is her job. ”And I don’t know if it’s the pressure Where paper meets the passion and the pleasure We’ve all gotta work to survive”
