Dude, shallans drawings of the "creatures" also gave me goosebumps when I read it. It was extremely scary/intriguing. Plus, you are getting quite close to the sanderlanche...
great video as always. I still think it is insane how many things you spot sometimes. Andother times, you connect things I never thought about, and you try to make sense of them but you are SO wrong, just super funny. looking forward to next weeks video
As someone who has read all the Cosmere stories so far, i love hearing your predictions. Some of them are so interesting and fun that i wish they did happen, and others im like "oh he's on to something there!" (Edit) Just an FYI his name isn't Lopen, it's The Lopen. You're close but just off.
Thank you. These predictions are interesting and fun as well. I have restarted reading stormlight archive this week, and I will try to catch up with you for next book, which I haven't read yet.
Great hypotheses so far. I agree that of all of Sanderson’s works, this one is the most Wheel of Time-esque. It doesn’t have the same flavor as WoT, but the world-building is intense, and the scope is magnificent. It’s super conducive to your approach of reading slowly and guessing the future (often incorrectly-but still fun!). I’m really loving book 2 in this series so far.
Excellent predictions as always. You are onto somethings way before I was on my first read but some predictions are almost the exact opposite of what will happen, but interesting ways to look on it. It's great!
Les goooooooooooooooooo yeah mate this is his best work so far, it's the only thing i've ever read that i feel could go past WoT by the time it's done man, and WoT is the greatest story ever told bar the Bible. So! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ur stuffed now bro, ur in the weeds haha. There's no coming out of the Crab-Weeds.
Just a clarification, Jasnah doesn't have religous beliefs, she's an athiest. And she has no problem talking about it with others. She refuses to talk about the origins of her soulcaster, but she is very gracious and open to Taravangian's questions about her lack of faith.
I'd consider atheism and agnosticism to exist on the spectrum of religious beliefs. More than that, each individual has their own particular views on the questions, so two Christians might have totally different beliefs, as might two atheists, as might two agnostics. I personally have given up on labels, as some might call me an atheist, others a deist, a pantheist, a polytheist, and more. Yet I would still say I have religious beliefs.
The Gaz POV been Abercrombie-esque is something that I never thought of but you are completely right.

Yeah they were completely out of the blue and very creepy the way they were introduced
I Jumped through the roof when the book said “then shallan drew the lines that made up the creature standing behind cabsol, Shallan froze”

Glad you enjoy, they are a lot of fun to make
Back with a reminder that Jasnah and Jah Keved are Ys, like in Jaeger!

Don't quite know if you’re joking, but he just refers to himself as The Lopen, everyone else (even other Herdazians just call him Lopen).
@@shughes5778He is The Lopen and anyone who disagrees is objectively wrong.
@@shughes5778what do you mean gancho he is THE lopen
@@sbstratos79 Yea, they need to put some respect on that name!

It’s been a while since I read this book, so I’m really enjoying your recaps. I’m glad you like the story.

With regard to the blurb and the “one of them will save us, one of them will doom us”, one question you’re not asking is: who is “us”?
I love following your reading and your theories so much! keep it up :D
for the geometric head people, if you want an image for your mind, look up pictures of fractals!
Good thing book 2 is Shallan’s book and you’ll get to learn a bit more about her back story.
Mitsubishi symbols have started appearing in the book
Awesome theories as usual! Love these recaps

Lopen! I love that guy
"Yah Kaved" Whenever you see a J, assume its pronounced "y'
I can't wait for you to read more
You're seeing interesting patterns
Epic
Just finish the damn book…
I love when you are so incredibly far off, because the logic and lines of thinking are reasonably sound.
In case you're still curious, 8:52 is the way Sanderson pronounces it. Im glad we're back, always very fun! :D
