Are you trying to play locally or over the internet? This currently only works for local multiplayer, although something like Parsec could be used to connect to someone else.
As far as I know, you can't hold items behind you with regular online. Also, I don't have a way to record the screens for the other players if it's online.

36:12 is just Toad in a nutshell. No matter how much tou WANT to make him suffer, he always finds so many ways to come back and make YOU suffer.
