I'm currently writing a comic that's set partly in the 90s, and just out of curiosity: would it be historically accurate to depict a *girl* playing this game back in the day? Like, if she's kind of a tomboy?
It seems like Player 2 takes a lot of extreme risks that he's only good enough to pull off about 40% of the time. Sure is satisfying when he (occasionally) does, though.
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought to myself "Wait a minute, Mark plays as Toad? I thought he usually plays as-" then I saw the beginning of the video as he was playing as Yoshi and I was like "...Oh.".

My sister owned it she and her friends (also me and my friends) played it all the time and they are far from tomboys.

It's REALLY fun when you do 2 player on actual SNES. I remember doing that with my father when I was a kid, sitting in front of a CRT. Nostalgia.

With the emulator BSNES, you can increase the Mode 7 resolution.
