My little sister is allergic to henna unfortunately but recently we tried a jagua stain which had jagua fruit powder instead of henna powder and the stain was bluish black, it was so gorgeous and I’m so happy she can finally wear smth similar to henna now

There are too many medicinal properties. Only south indian ancestors know the real medicinal purposes of it. These types of designs "the henna" thing was made trending lately in north indian culture. The actual leaves are freshly grinded to paste and applied on both hands by grandmas and aunts from ancient times. It has huge medicinal properties including blood purification, improving cardio health, reduces stress, best to treat insomnia. This is edible actually. But not this one chemical mixed henna she shows here which is commonly used in north part of india. But it is named as *maruthaani leaves* in south india. You can very well pick the fresh leaves right away from the plant and consume it. Very good for overall health. Try to import fresh leaves and use for any purpose you wish but not this chemical powder.

Hi, I came across your channel a few months ago. All your videos have inspired me to be more creative with henna by experimenting different ideas and making it more personalised. I especially loved your Wednesday themed henna design it was very unique and out of the ordinary in comparison to the traditional henna designs. After that video I did a Legally Blonde themed henna design in spirit of our college musical.
I am 16 yrs old and I have been doing henna since I can remember but now I am trying to promote my henna skills through starting a business rather than for free. In my community people only really get henna for Eid or weddings rather than for fun (apart from me🤪). Additionally, I am not really allowed to go to fairs and events for strangers or have my social media as public (i.e insta, facebook etc). That being said, what are some tips that I can implement to promote my business to the people I already know. I am popular for doing henna in my community (because I have it on 24/7) and they have been saying for years that "we will get it from you next time" and they still don't come.
Ik it's kind of hard for any promotion due to my age and restrictions but it would be appreciated for any simple tips. Thx soo much!!.🥰

Hey there! I would say start with classmates at your school perhaps, I’m sure as you get older your community will come to you more but sometimes it can be harder to charge friends or people within your community versus strangers at a henna booth if that makes sense so when you’re older and can do booths and fairs it’ll be much easier for you if that makes sense

Thank you so much for this. Your work is beautiful. I’m another person just wanting to start out in henna. I have done painted tattoos and glitter tattoos before at events but henna is something I’ve always wanted to move into.
I do have a couple of questions, I hope you are able to answer for me please?
If you are doing a 2 or 3 day event and have no fridge, how do you keep the cones fresh, or are they ok for this short time? Also, how many cones would you take to this sort of event. We’re doing the whole summer next year (hubby is a caricaturist) and I want to offer painted and henna, as I feel small children, boys, etc are going to prefer something they can wash off for school or in different colours.
I would love to see your setup/stall that you have for events, if you don’t mind? I’m currently trying to design how ours will go with the caricatures and the tattoos (and our own range of T-shirts and art prints) and I’d love to see how you present it? Do you do full hands or have some small designs like lotus flowers or swirls, etc that you charge a small amount for? I’m in the UK, so I’m hoping to be able to start pricing at around £5 as it’s affordable for most folks. How much do you charge and do you have different pricing strategies or just decide when people ask for things?
    Thank you so much. Ananda.xx

I bought some henna cones at a local place this weekend , it smells nothing like what i’m used to , I love the smell of henna , this one smelled like odd, the only thing i can compare it to is Lysol cleaner . I wiped it off because I thought maybe it’s got chemicals in it the brand is Afrin dulhan mehndi cone. should i use it??

@@hadariandahllyran65 you might know about the plant, but you have no clue about the powder. That powder IS NOT CHEMICAL. It's just the dried and grounded leaves of the henna plant, and if you skip the essential oil (which is actually the equivalent of grinding cloves when grinding marudhani, because grinding the cloves extracts their natural essence), it's literally the same as marudhani, only with dried leaves. The chemical henna is the *premade paste you buy at the market*, not the henna powder

Hi, I'm looking into mixing my own henna paste because there isn't really any henna artists around me and it will be more cost effective in the quantities i'll be using it than purchasing ready-made cones. As I'm looking at different powders to purchase I'm finding pretty much everything is saying henna for hair, even if I search pure henna for body art. Is there a difference in pure henna powder for hair and pure henna powder for body art? Or is that just marketing and it depends more on the recipe you use to mix the paste than the powder? I hope that makes sense.

I have a question. Can henna permanently stain scarred skin? I once tried to get a henna tattoo and the artist wouldn't put it in the area I wanted because there was a small scar there. She said henna can permanently stain scars and so she never puts henna on or near scars. I've been too hesitant to test on myself since then, and Google only talks about chemical henna issues when I try searching. Have you heard anything like this before.
