Waterbending Mythic from this season. Has the range of a sniper, no damage drop off, could heal you while in the water, deals like 80 damage to the head and has infinite ammo. It managed to get me a bunch of cheeky kills and a bunch of victories/crown victories and I’m a shitter.
I thought about putting some of the avatar mythics on here

Personally I think the Frenzy is worse than Gatekeeper now, solely because fsr Gatekeeper will randomly headshot for like 90 dmg from about 15-20m away, just because it felt like it that day (it's actually the absurdly good spread but I digress)
Overclocked pulse rifle was so broken i gave it to my sister who never played fortnite and she got 10 elims (they were AIs... but you get the point)

I personally think Reaper is even worse to fight against now with a lower droprate. Back then everyone had it so it was equal footing, now only a few players have it so they can really dominate and put pressure on people who don't have it.
I actually think this is a really good point I never thought about. But, I think the fact that literally anybody could be good with arguably the hardest weapon type in the game to use was just insane
@@tyluhfryzgaming Yeah, for sure. I just feel they could have nerfed it in better ways. Old snipers were balanced around only having one shot but being insanely powerful. Movement was slower back then but you still didn't get sniped as much

And only like ONE vending machine at a time sells them.
Back when Chapter 5 first started and the snipers were abundant, it was arguably more fair.
Now I have to pick off specific 5 players a game it feels like to find ONE.
I love the season but that change feels like it had the opposite effect: instead of EVERYONE running the game with snipers, you have to deal with with 85-90 Ar users and if you get into a gun fight, you MIGHT get sniped while being at a disadvantage, just because RNG wasn’t on your side.
putting overpowered chapter 5 weapons on this list and not talking about the thunderburst or the pre nerf thunderbolt is wild 😭

Pre nerf primal was so close to being on here. I felt like the pre nerf frenzy was stronger tho. The primal felt broken imo only in its mythic form.

Rn at least on creative on any map that got any kind of dmg boost the gatekeeper shotgun is BY FAR the strongest shotgun in the game, since it doesn't matter the rarity or strenght of the damage boost for some reason you would always deal 150 headshots to someone, even on grey rarity, so that combined with ut's fire rate and range + basically no need of skill to use, it just makes it OP in so many levels in basically all kind of scenarios
Hell I feel like the nerf to the reaper was probably the best thing that could ever happen to me fr! I’d somehow land my shots even better😭🙏
The last circles now are mostly just people running from you and trying to snipe you with water bending and a reaper, it was worse with air bending but people still do it with icarus and shockwaves, it got to a point where I won a game because the last player would rather sit in storm trying to snipe me instead of closing the gap after hitting me twice, season 3 can't come soon enough 💀

Rail Gun from Chapter 2, season 7 paired with the grenade Launcher that would ping players of their location. You could shoot people through Walls
Despite how OP that is, I honestly love it and think it has decent enough counterplay. I'm biased, it's my favourite weapon in the entire game, but it was possible to avoid or counterplay by building more stuff than just one wall (railgun can pierce only one wall/object, the next thing stops it), AND it can't one shot

are we not gonna take about the explosive repeater rifle? I remember double pumping it with the havoc and getting free kills. you could also Shockwave up and rain explosive bullets down.
The Spas + Deagle meta in season 7 when the Deagle could one shot wood buildings was also insane

Okay so I just remembered something that in a vacuum I think could be considered OP. The exotic flint knock pistol (the flight knock pistol) used exclusively in the Lazarbeam creator tournament gamemode. Basically just a flint knock on steroids, could deal 100+ on a body shot and I think one shot to the head, on top of recoil that sends you/anyone hit FLYING.

Hate keeper is one of the most unfairly overpowered shotguns with its fire rate and damage
If you do another video like this for Augments you might be able to mention the augment where you gain ammo from terrain items, including individual pieces like furniture in a house. It meant you could spam rockets constantly buy you had endless ammo around you as every bush, fence, and tree was essentially an ammo box.

The goo gun had new drawbacks except it’s reload time but the goo gun was broken asf
On the complete other end with one of the most underpowered weapons of all time, the original pulse rifle pre buff. Unlike the Stark rifle, the pulse rifle originally only did 33 damage when you ADS with a much slower fire rate than the M16 and Scar. It took a patch to buff the ADS damage in order to make it the same as the Stark rifle and gave it a legitimate and great use case. I love the state the normal pulse rifle ended up in, but when it dropped, it was terrible.
the shockwave luancher was op because in that season the only other movement was crashpads. so the shockwave launcher gave you unseen powers.
The AC/DC pickaxe I believe also did 56 damage at the same time as the star wand
I never had an experience with using an overpowered weapon because an OP weapon is automatically balanced with my skill issues 🥴
Rail gun especially in chapter 2 with the recon scanner where it did 90 damage at blue through 2 walls or some shi like that
Suggestions: Rail Gun, Recon Scanner, Sideways Minigun, Venom and Carnage Symbiotes, Stinger and Combat SMGs from C3S1 and C3S2, Mythic Evo-Chrome Rifle, Ex-Caliber Rifle, Heisted Maven Shotgun, and the Waterbending Avatar Mythic
And for honorable mentions, Primal Shotgun, every grenade launcher lol (specially the one from C4S4), Ranger Shotgun, and the Kame Hame Ha
odm gear from chapter 4 but some other non weapons could be the henchmen and bosses from chapter 2 season , the tanks, wolverine even or the alien spaceships. but also another crazy item would have been the reality plants from chapter 3 and last but not least the infinity blade, mechs and thanos

I'd put in Slone's Mythic AUG in there as well (CH2S7/21 bullets version)
Enhanced zoom in a time before scoped ARs became more mainstream, 39 body damage, had a very fast fire rate for a burst weapon, had very little bloom due to it being a 2 shot burst, really good range as well, not to mention Dr. Slone at the time was a hidden boss close by steamy stacks, she wasn't in her own POI

I think the pre-nerf guided missile launcher deserves to be on this list even if it was completely removed from the files a few seasons after its introduction

For me, the heisted breach shotgun and the accelerated shotgun from chapter 4 season 2 were overpowered.

zero build was literally just sniper+auto=win. especially the mythic auto, i saw no one ever use a pump or never not take a sniper pre nerf. now i cant even hit a shot with the sniper and the auto is a lot worse more than 3 meters away. i prefer gatekeeper and dmr now.

thanks for adding my request the auto 😂 i argued with my friend today that pre nerfed auto was better than the gatekeeper 😂😂 so many pros complained about auto being too good ive heard nothing about the gatekeeper

I am quite disappointed to see the C1 S8 Boom Bow not make the list, or has it been forgotten to time? The recent boom bow’s were nowhere near as good. I don’t remember TNTina’s much, but I don’t think it was was good as the first one?
I’d also like to add the ODM Gear from the Attack on Titan collaboration, especially pre-nerf. (Overclocked Pulse Rifle did get nerfed too, so it was definitely overpowered pre-nerf, but the nerf wasn’t enough to take away it’s overpowered status)
When this guy said the shockwave launcher was insane he lost credibility a lil that thing I never touched and spidy’s grappler was 10x that same as the hammers

ik u saw the video abt the medallion being op but its not actually that op, the only reason its good is because of the meta right now. its the only mobility available because wings were disabled, and only one player could have it so it was considered overpowered
same thing with kits shockwave launcher, it was in a meta with no other mobility + only one payer could have it
I mean, the wings have been available alongside the medallion all season (besides the avatar mythic weeks). I think the fact that you can be so unpredictable and quick with your change of direction as compared to other mobility is what makes it stand out. Besides the fact that it's essentially unlimited
The meddalion with the mythic gate keeper is OP. I only land grim in solo to get that combo. I die a lot of times trying but when I get it I'm set.
