Great list except the snipers. Maybe I’m just missing something but always thought the general opinion was the hunting rifle was easier to use than the real snipers. Plus the purp/gold hunting rifles have insane reloads and hip fire. And honestly the only sniper not having a scope just doesn’t feel right.
I don't know how the flint knock hasn't come back yet every UA-camr loves it bc it enables trick shots and it requires good aim to do enough damage to be good
I really want the pulse rifles to stay in. I love the risk/reward aspect. They can barely apply any pressure at all if ADS'd, but the bloom is awful when hipfiring, however, it is still rewarding if you can hit your shots close range as the damage when hipfired is similar to that of an M16 or Scar while the reward for good tracking and crosshair placement is insane as it can delete a healthbar in seconds if your aim is good enough. The one thing I think should be toned down is the headshot multiplier. I think the gold should only do 65 to the head so it doesn't go from a 4 shot with full shield to a 3 shot with full shield.

The pulse rifle has first shot accuracy on every shot when you ADS, which does make it more accurate than any other rifle that isn't a sniper rifle. I'd really like to see an update to this video since there has been so many new guns and items since the video has come out and so much has changed. The shotgun meta has continued to be experimented with, but instead of drastic changes, there were a lot of small tweaks with similar archetypes. The AR meta has added both red dot guns as well as now projectile bullets (even last Chapter with the DMRs) it's become a more prominent part of the game. Even just the role of mobility items that take up an inventory slot has become a permanent staple of many players' loadouts. Not to mention Zero Build becoming thing and having weapons and items that suit that mode as well.
Okay for the shotgun you need to have a multi shooting shotgun so I say combat shotgun since it can work well with the tactical AR and it can be used in similar ways to the charge and pump
very good and reasonable list, but id make a few changes. 1: add in a burst ar, this is the perfect middle ground between a standard ar and an infantry rifle, just like the tac is a good middle ground between the ar and smgs. 2: add a tac shotgun, and MAYBE replace charge shotgun with something like the combat, heavy, or ranger. 3: i think the smg should only be purple/gold and be a lot more rare, and have something like the suppressed smg or drum gun from gray to blue. 4: hunting rifle as the only sniper is weird, instead have the bolt sniper and a buffed semi sniper that takes the role of the hunting rifle but not as busted. 5: there has to be a basic pistol, its the basis of any shooter game to have a standard handgun like that and finally 6: rpg, but very very limited rocket count, like 3-5.
I love the meta you made, but personally I’d change a few things: 1 remove Chug Splash and add in Slurp Juice 2 add the tac shotgun 3 have both the bolt sniper and hunting rifle instead of just one of them 4 add spike traps (but nerf them to 40-50 damage each instead of 150) 5 add the grappler 6 add duel pistols
Just three things, the AR slot is totally messed up imo and instead of the tactical AR, we should have the burst, and instead of the infantry rifle, we should have the AK. For SMG’s, the rapid fire would work well if only grey to blue, but the Normal smg’s would be grey to gold
I agree with all this except for infantry and lever. Infantry Rifle rewards aim and precision outputting massive damage. Vault the tactical AR for burst but keep infantry.
Only thing i would add to this is maybe driftboard, or quadcrash. Just to make the rotation more fun, while not being OP, because someone with good aim could easily beam someone on a quad or a drift board because they are not protected by anything.
My best shotgun meta would be Pump Tac Charge and Lever for pubs and Tac Charge Lever or just Tac and Charge for Arena. I just don't think Pump and Charge would make a bad meta, especially with the fact that Pumps have now been altered, but you should have shotguns that favor different playstyles. Pump and Charge would have a relatively same playstyle, just the charge would be a bit defensive, but if the tac got buffed, and came with charge and lever it would make the meta diverse which could be more fun since you can CHOOSE. Another thing is that I don't think bandage bazooka should come back, if you get it from chests it increases rng, if you only get it from drops it's useless, if it doesn't recharge in zone, again, useless. Except that I think your thinking for the next meta is goated.
I do think the pump should be in arena, as it is most peoples favourite shotgun. If they put it only in pubs, some arena players would play pubs simply because there is the pump. What you said about the bandy cannon is so true though, it would be so not worth if you couldnt use it in zone!

If you buff any shotty more powerful than the pump, they get broken (like primal). And the pump is less skillfull than other shotguns because you have higher 50-50 wining chance due to high damage. But I do agree with the fact that since the charge has top end damage, pump charge could reduce rng, but it's just too clunky. Tho pump charge will certainly be a very interesting shotgun meta.
One thing everyone can agree on, grey shotguns are very weak. The damage is just not worth it. I could take an smg and have a higher chance of winning an offspawn fight.

Pumps were way less balanced in season 4 when everyone was running around with spazzes and if you didnt have one you were at a huge disadvantage, especially because purple ones could 200 pump. But with how relatively rare spazzes were this season, I think it was balanced and fun. I get why you think they are 50/50, but tbh I need to use piece control and building and editing in order to make the most of the pump and line up shots. With tacs, for example, they are best used in box and you just have to pray you line up more shots. But at the end of the day epic will do what they want hahaha

I love how some AR’s can be used as SMG’s or SMG’s as AR’s. For example the pistols, or the MK-7. Also some snipers can bee used like an at, like the DMR, or scoped AR depending on how good you are. I’m just trynaappreciate that epic really encourages each person to have a unique play style. I could use the mk and pump with a slurp cannon and slurp fish. It would be omega overpowered.
Actually I don't wanna be annoying but let me correct you there. At the start of Chapter 2 Season 4, we had Pumps combats and charges but in the Fortnitemares they vaulted The Charge Shotgun
Personally I think the current lootpool is probably the closest to competitive perfection, literally only thing that I'd tweak is adding hunting rifle/bolt and shockwave grenades which would make it a lot LOT more fun, shockwave huntings are just vibess. Also there should always be a default sniper like the bolt

I love your content, keep it up Personally, I only disagreed with the snipers portion, because I simply don't like them, and the hunting rifle is also pretty easy to hit with Another thing, in chapter 2 season 4, the tac wasn't brought back, the shotguns were Pump, Charge and Combat, and the charge got vaulted. I really like the charge shotgun and I would love for the shotgun meta to be Charge, Pump\Lever and Combat, however, the chapter 2 season 4 combat was unusable, so I'd like a buffed version of that, without it being abnoxious, like the chapter 1 combat shotgun. As for the tac, I hate it, keep it out. :)
Crash pads are the worst, they make everything chaotic. Imagine you are set up, ahead of zone, good mats, and then little timmy crash pads in your box and wins a 50-50 against you. You can't do ANYTHING. They affect too much and other players. They also increase server lag A LOT. The rapid fire is pretty good tho, especially if you run out of ar ammo.

For throwables/explosives/mobility I mostly agree. There’s definitely some places to add onto mobility and throw able items. There should be glider grapples bc it’s balanced, hard to use in battles, But a good mobility item. We also need just some form of thrown explosive, such as like dynamite if it wasn’t so devastating on builds, or if we just nerfed grenades so they cant be used with the mark trick to air strike, and they do 40 damage, then they’re fair. Probably just like make them a bit weaker to builds and heavily decrease the range they can be thrown. Then, if flare guns didn’t ruin wood builds from fire, they wouldn’t be that bad, they can still have that explosive landing for damage, or be used to mark people, and it’s probably fair I we remove fire
not a lot of people seem to miss it but man, if the hoverboard comes back I would be so happy. I remember going in creative and testing out all its abilities and angles and zooming over mountains and I just want to do that again.
i dont think the chug splashes should be in the game because you get cracked with a pump and someone builds in full metal gets back to full health way faster then the normal heals

The one we got right now is perfect, but we need chug splashes, floppers, and slurps to make endgame viable. Im referring to base weapons, dual pistols, bolty (no heavy snipe), the spas, tacs, flint knock is pretty toxic you could get rid of it
I will always think chapter 1 season 8 was a fairly balanced (besides ballers being just the best) its when i played the most competitive fortnite and when i was activally trying in tourneys. Plus season 8 just had a good map imo made the competitive play really enjoyable and felt fairly balanced.
The spaz needs to go into the vault. It's so ridiculous op it's not even funny. The silenced smg was perfect in late ch1, viable but not op. I would just buff that and take out the normal smg. The chug cannon shouldn't be in the game 100% agreed Surpressed pistol yes pls. The late ch1 version was the best one. i don't agree with the shotguns. maybe you only need a pump in higher elos, but in lower you usually pair it with an smg, and having the choice to either go pump + smg or tactical is nice

My perfect fortnite:
ARs: mk-7, epic and legendary burst AR (pre c2s3 nerf), and infantry
Snipers: Silenced sniper.
SMGs: Stinger smg and compact smg
Shotguns: Pump and combat (pre season X combat nerf)
Explosives: Boom bow (legendary one)
Utility: Inflate a bull, shield bubble, crash pad, impulse grenades and spidey mythic

I love how some AR’s can be used as SMG’s or SMG’s as AR’s. For example the pistols, or the MK-7. Also some snipers can bee used like an at, like the DMR, or scoped AR depending on how good you are.
I’m just trynaappreciate that epic really encourages each person to have a unique play style. I could use the mk and pump with a slurp cannon and slurp fish. It would be omega overpowered.
Actually I don't wanna be annoying but let me correct you there. At the start of Chapter 2 Season 4, we had Pumps combats and charges but in the Fortnitemares they vaulted The Charge Shotgun

Personally I think the current lootpool is probably the closest to competitive perfection, literally only thing that I'd tweak is adding hunting rifle/bolt and shockwave grenades which would make it a lot LOT more fun, shockwave huntings are just vibess. Also there should always be a default sniper like the bolt
No i would Love tac Charge lever because all of them are balanced and ITS Just more fair. But they would need TO make the tac damage more consistend but Pump Charge IS a Bit better

Personally, I only disagreed with the snipers portion, because I simply don't like them, and the hunting rifle is also pretty easy to hit with
Another thing, in chapter 2 season 4, the tac wasn't brought back, the shotguns were Pump, Charge and Combat, and the charge got vaulted. I really like the charge shotgun and I would love for the shotgun meta to be Charge, Pump\Lever and Combat, however, the chapter 2 season 4 combat was unusable, so I'd like a buffed version of that, without it being abnoxious, like the chapter 1 combat shotgun. As for the tac, I hate it, keep it out. :)
I pretty much looove everything about this, but the only two things I’d put in is the Crash pad and Rapid fire SMG.
Crash pads are the worst, they make everything chaotic. Imagine you are set up, ahead of zone, good mats, and then little timmy crash pads in your box and wins a 50-50 against you. You can't do ANYTHING. They affect too much and other players. They also increase server lag A LOT. The rapid fire is pretty good tho, especially if you run out of ar ammo.
@@abhay8424 ok but what if u can get out and be very slippery, plus if the crash pads made the game laggy why not limit how much you can hold and minimize how big they are I still they should be added just a little hard to get maybe…

For throwables/explosives/mobility I mostly agree. There’s definitely some places to add onto mobility and throw able items. There should be glider grapples bc it’s balanced, hard to use in battles, But a good mobility item. We also need just some form of thrown explosive, such as like dynamite if it wasn’t so devastating on builds, or if we just nerfed grenades so they cant be used with the mark trick to air strike, and they do 40 damage, then they’re fair. Probably just like make them a bit weaker to builds and heavily decrease the range they can be thrown. Then, if flare guns didn’t ruin wood builds from fire, they wouldn’t be that bad, they can still have that explosive landing for damage, or be used to mark people, and it’s probably fair I we remove fire

The one we got right now is perfect, but we need chug splashes, floppers, and slurps to make endgame viable. Im referring to base weapons, dual pistols, bolty (no heavy snipe), the spas, tacs, flint knock is pretty toxic you could get rid of it
I will always think chapter 1 season 8 was a fairly balanced (besides ballers being just the best) its when i played the most competitive fortnite and when i was activally trying in tourneys. Plus season 8 just had a good map imo made the competitive play really enjoyable and felt fairly balanced.
Watching this while waiting for the event, we'll see the meta soon!
My favorite that I've never been able to pull off in game is a flintlknock lever shotgun and combat ar then 2 heal slots or a mobility item

So good except wouldn't have hunting rifle it just makes headshot snipes so easy.. also charge could be swapped to tacs only purple and gold with slightly buffed damage and instead if you are adding charge then some adjustments should be made
i agree but maybe they add tacs instead of removing charges cos charges are really balanced. Also i dont think buffing the headshot damage on tacs would be good maybe only body and maybe more range.
@@TorchFN horrible shit take. Why tf would you buff body damage on the Tac and say "I don't think we should buff the headshot damage"? It already does 88 freakin damage and shoots 1.5x a second. If anything, buff the HS multiplier to at least 1.75 because 1.5 is too low.

I think for snipers the hunter bolt action is good too and i also think for explosives bring back clingers but make them rare instead of uncommon and make it so u can only hold 2 or 3 instead of 6

i don't agree with the shotguns. maybe you only need a pump in higher elos, but in lower you usually pair it with an smg, and having the choice to either go pump + smg or tactical is nice
