God damn I really hope they get to animating these fights. They’re some of the most interesting and dynamic fights in all of dragonball. Imagine seeing Gas teleport UE Vegeta into his blows over and over again.
I actually love the duality of ultra ego and ultra instinct. Goku is like a wild animal while Vegeta is a savage fueled by his royal ego. Toyotaro really studied these characters huh?
Ultra Instinct is more elegant and complicated in nature being main angelic technique meanwhile Ultra Ego is more savage and feral in nature being GOD technique based around destruction. It's opposite.

Ultra Ego would be a cool form if its whole gimmick didn't involve intentionally taking damage. It did barely anything against Granolah and Gas smh. The writers will never let Vegeta win.
Y'know, rewatching this months later...UE did better than people against Gas than many people credit it for. Vegeta WAS dodging a lot of Gas' attacks at one point; the problem was when he pulled instant transmission on Vegeta out of his ass, something not even Goku can do. It was clear the wish gave him and Granola a lot of rapid abilities. Vegeta actually got quite a few good hits in otherwise.
Ultra ego is perfect but it been vegetad so it wouldn’t be doing anything and also the more I get damage the more powerful I get is cap I hope beerus tell him that not how ultra ego works

See the problem with a technique that turns damage into power, is that you're still taking damage, and it won't mean jack squat if you're just letting yourself get hit over and over without hitting back. Vegeta got, what, 2 or 3 punches that did basically nothing? Ultra Ego looks cool, but it's really not that good.
