Yes, you can fold a flush, esp when you have the bottom end of it and the board is paired. Maybe Doug is the only person around there who can.

I'd even say, don't bet for value at the end, and you don't get re-raised.
Moe plays loose and crazy. It's a flip there with Moe in the hand. You gotta compare equity vs bankroll. If you can take the hit without too much trouble, I'd be calling as well.
So...let me get this straight.... your opponent calls your pre-flop raise, check/calls, the flop and turn, and check-raises you all in on the river? How do you think your 4 high flush is ever good there?
Could be three of a kind. But I think the real issue here is he’s ran into this hand against someone that plays very loose. They could have just had 2 pair given their play style.
I don't think even a loose player check raises river when flush comes in with 2 pair or trips on that board. Call, maybe. But check raising river is boat, nutted flush or air. Nothing in between. Check raising trips what worse hand do you hope to get called by? You lose to any flush any boat and any 8 and any combination of kq
I guarantee if old mate check raises with AT and Brown Balla folds you'd give us a breakdown on how bad his fold was.

Ive never seen a more obvious trap set. Even if youre drawing into the flush, the second the board pairs you should be worried. 7/10 times you have aa ak aq aj suited or pocket pairs that are calling into. Suited connectors also want a play in there. Someone check jamming to an overbet on the river should make you tank for awhile and hero fold not smooth calling an all in

Yes you can fold a flush, you can fold pretty much anything if everything’s pointing towards you losing!
Brown deserved to loose this and for two reasons. 1) he shouldn't have been in the hand and 2) he had the lowest spades and didn't think that Moe had the flush with higher spades.
Do not call All Ins with baby flushes, ESPECIALLY on a paired board against an OMC!
