Fast forward four years later The Last Guardian still has to come out and its being developed for the PlayStation 4 personally now that I've learned this game is tied to ICO and Shadow of the Colossus I'm much more hyped for this game ICO was one of my favorite games of all time and if you didn't know spoilers Shadow of the Colossus was a prequel to ICO the whole thing was something about God being sealed away these games are beautiful in the way they tell such a compelling story with such little words kind of reminds me of spirited away or Howl's Moving Castle :-)

No arrows telling you where to go or maps or even inventory to endlessly scroll though. Now on to Shadow of The Colossus. Can't wait.

SOTC is easily top 5 best game of all time and to imagine what they'll do on PS4 is just amazing and I really hope it comes to fruition. I also think they'll figure out really cool ways to use the touchpad and the motion controls of the DS4.
The director being also an experienced animator made a game that is unforgetable to me and until now I hunger for that kind of game. The horsegameplay is the most undefeated one for me even until now. I tried looking at red dead redemption and it disappointed me and now currently playing witcher 3 which is a very good story telling though but failed at horse gameplay. Team ico's game are my number one game of all time so is Kojima's game, SE's Final Fantasy series. Yet even MGSv failed at horse gameplay and didn't satisfy me. :( Well at first I thought that SotC is the best realistic and friendly horsegameplay for me, now I think its the best gameplay animator. That is why im excited for The Last Guardian.

I had never heard of theese games when they first came out since I had an Xbox, but after seeing a review/gameplay footage I just knew HOLY CRAP I need to experience this!! Now I only wish I had a PS3 so I can play The Last Guardian when it comes out, and Journey :(
Truly, Ueda and his team are artists. Though the games aren't for everyone, they offer experiences unlike anything else. Ico is like a fairy tale, that deconstructs the normal patterns. And Shadow of the Colossus is like an epic, full of action, but also a tale of how even the most noble of actions, can reap dire consequences...
@megahunter Are you saying Ocarina of Time inspired Ico? Because that's wrong. Ico was in production before Ocarina of Time released, and already had much of its theme (escape with Yorda) solidified prior to dropping the PS1 as its platform and going to the PS2. If anything, Ico was more like "What if Mario had to escort Peach from the castle?", and then worked from there by stripping out the gamey aspects (no collecting tokens, no scores or health bars, etc).
At least Ueda is informing fans about the last guardian. On the other hand, Hideo Kojima has kept everything about mgs rising secret for 2 years. As a Metal Gear fan, this is hugely frustrating.

Trico and the boy find the center of the valley and more tricos come and start fighting trico so the boy kills the center of the valley all but two good tricos survive and your trico takes you back to your village and many years later a group of boys find a mirror you use to control trico's tail and you shine it and two baby Tricos eyes shine and then it fades to black...
Community Watch LOL...I guess that term can be confusing. Especially if you are not playing the North American version. In the BONUS CONTENT, there are 9 slots ( squares ) which contain stuff that you unlock. I've unlocked 7 of the slots. I'm not sure how you unlock the 8th & 9th slot. Maybe you have to get 100% of the trophy's for both games. Maybe you need to do something else. Whatever it is, I haven't unlocked them. It doesn't appear that anyone else has either. lol
Remastering for the PS4 AND PS3? Or is the PS3 version of Ico and Shadow of The Colossus already out. Knowing these games are still popular makes me feel good I'm doing a no death/ speed-run. 4 hours in and already killed 13 of the 16. No deaths. But the game kind of glitched and I was frozen with Adro in a whinnying position I jumped off and was stuck in mid air. Complete control of the camera and pause menu but nothing involving moving. Luckily it froze me on the one colossus I hated which was the second bull type. Took me ages to muster up the courage to fight that thing the first time, knowing that it could instantly kill me with it's small size and major damage and timing to it's attacks.
@LaunchingIn54321 well lets think about it this way. the game while good isn't really changing enough to make it a must buy for those who played the originals. for instance it would of been nice to incorporate the NICO concept into a semi Add-on for SOTC. great game yes and for it's time it was a master piece and basically set the stage for what it means to be a Playstation game But it is a port of a game with higher resolution so in that sense you can't give it an out right 10.
All 3 of these games are truly epic, created by an absolute genius, but I would have absolutely loved if they developed an Xbox 360 version of this game so us Xbox gamers can also experience the HD graphics!!
I played only shadow of colossos on the ps2 and it was an amazing experience. But i think it would be more fair when the xbox playaer also could enjoy this amazing adventure =)
