      Thats great! That is what we are shooting for. Did you just recently purchase one?

    Thx for the review. Good one. Regarding the battery life, I read somewhere that these batteries gain sufficiency with usage, so after x amounts of charges it could potentially reach 50 minutes or at least more than in this vid. Obviously it's just some percentage of improvement and ultimately it will age and loose power over the years as with all batteries

    I've been using an HS81R for many years and in my experience, it was the best pro hedgecutter money could buy! That was until I bought a Husqvarna 522HDR75X! Cuts the same, and is just as reliable as the 81R, but far more comfortable to use! If I were younger, I would probably go the battery route. That said, if I was just starting out, I would go for gas, as pro battery equipment is very expensive and run time is still poor!

    I’ve been thinking about maybe an idea for the channel. Would you ever think about including pricing with these equipment videos?

    • @WesternEquipment
      @WesternEquipment  2 роки тому +2

      I have considered it, but with these videos lasting on here forever I don’t want the pricing to change and somebody get upset. Thanks for watching!

      Obtaining pricing is no more difficult than going to Stihl's website.

    8 lbs is a tad too heavy. My
    Last trimmer with the same
    Length blade weighed half of that. I do not have the strength to wield around an 8+ lb. trimmer.

      Totally understandable. It is heavy enough that if there is a lot of trimming, I will tire our pretty quick. Thanks for watching!

      You mean the battery wont move when you hit the release button?

      I would say you will definitely find ones that will jam it us. It is pretty true to the size it advertises that it will cut.
