God did not give this man the appropriate gifts to be a singer for Him. When you see someone trying to do a work for the Lord and it turns into a trainwreck such as this, it's a certain indicator that the work was never in the Lord's plan for that person. Church friends and family who love James have told him for years that he's really talented. His performance strongly indicates otherwise however. The problem with this is whatever God equipped him to really do is likely not getting done while he's enjoying all the false compliments and attention, The worst example of this is a pastor leading a congregation when he's completely unqualified. As a person who once had a pastor like that I can't stress enough how important it is that all people who want to serve God seek His guidance in finding their purpose.
