The TRG 350Z Steering Wheel Upgrade

We wanted to share a quick upgrade we did to the Z - a quick and (relatively) simple upgrade you can do for YOUR Z as well.
We changed the old outdated looking steering wheel to the more updated and modern 370Z steering wheel.
If you're looking to do a similar upgrade, make sure you invest in the security Torx bit!

Just saw this video. Great mod. I quickly check ebay for 370Z wheel but those all are without the airbag. How did you acquire the complete steering wheel with airbag? I have a 2006 Roadster with radio and cruise controls on the steering wheel

The one I found was the only complete one on eBay. You can always get the wheel and airbag separately

I was looking into swapping a 2016 Nissan centra nismo gadge cluster into my 350 Z would you think it’s possible?

Anything is possible if you're determined enough. As far as plug & play though, I'm sure some of the plugs will be the same, but it'll depend on different available features most likely

If your wheel originally had the controls it's just a matter of re-pinning. If not, you can get a module that is programmable

The audio/cruise plug has to be re-pinned, but it's fairly easy to do. All three of the plugs are the same though.

@@phen96 There are a couple of reddit and forum threads about it. the basic steps are swapping the wire order using a depinning tool. The wire colors are the same for each wheel, so the pins on the 370z wheel just need to re-pinned to match the 350z wheel.
