Landed a 3 wrong today heard my spokes ping, wheel had a slight wobble after watching 4 videos I had made my wheel worse. I then came across yours and my wheel is perfect. THANK YOU explained so well. Subscribed!!!
Homeboy thank you for a perfect video and being detailed by SHOWING your work. You won't believe how many instructional videos just breeze through instructional videos. Like we know already. Good job!!
When it's out of alignment that way it's harder to measure how far out of whack it is with out a truing stand because your rub point is under the tire, not on the sidewall....Find the center of rub under the tire, then tighten an even section on either side of the rub point gradually. You want to true that side but not twist the rim so you evenly tighten the same amount of spokes on either side of the rub point........ when I mean "rub point", I'm meaning the exact center of where the misalignment is.

That's cool. Just remember to take your time and make sure you know if it's a cross laced or regular set up. That hub is an Animal Javeline V1 in Polmogranate color.
@@BMXNEWSCHANNEL It looks eerily similar to the stock hub that came with my Performer. Before I lace my rear Hazard Lite, the V2 Clutch will be replacing the unknown stock hub I currently have. If I can't get this truing method together, it's off to the pros to hand them my pocket lint😂! My patience level has always been short, so I don't want to get in my destructive mood while attempting to complete something that cost me a bit of cash to purchase, then customize a little.
Best truing vid I've seen so far, explanations were perf.
Best truing video I've found, and I've watched about 15-20. Finally someone who can perfectly articulate how to true a wheel. Thank you!

can you use a upside down zip tie since it wouldn't lock?
How do you fix when it starts going up and down?

Yeah im having this issue as well
For my spokes I tight them clockwise any way I look at it and loose the spokes anti clockwise on any way I look at it
That’s cool way
6 years after this video was produced, you may never see my comment. If you do...thank you for the education.

I have a question, If I want to put a new hub on a used wheel with a hub already in it do i just loosen all the spokes to get that hub off?
