Hey Dive Studios...Love and Appreciate all your contents. I enjoy all your interviews of very talented, awesome and wonderful human beings 😊😊 Humbly requesting if Jackson Wang can be in one of your episodes too ☺️ Please 🙏🙏 Love and appreciate you!!
Wow! I'll choose Nichkhun to be stuck with some place if talking is the only thing that'll keep us alive. He can definitely do all the work while I just stare at his smiley emoji, err, face. 😄
Kpop fans forgot before Lisa and other new gens foreign idols , there is Nichkhun. He was literally EVERYWHERE in Korea back then. His CFs are just well, everywhere. He was the original Thai Prince (even though everyone knows he is NOT A PRINCE). I was in Korea when 2PM was everywhere, when I said 2PM the taxi drivers and every Korean just said ‘Nichkhun’. That is how famous he is. Love him. Love 2PM. The sole reason my love for kpop is 2PM. Again and Again was my go-to song for ages. Love his wisdom and strength. He is so humble, always saying he is talentless and working hard to be everything he is now. I miss 2PM. Please comeback 2PM. I saw Woo in shows and I feel like crying. That is how crazy I am missing 2PM. I have all of their albums including their Japanese releases. Miss you guys, love this interview.
My favorite thing about Nichkhun is he has taken on the role of Father/Brother figure for all the Thai Idols, Last year in July he was back stage of a BlackPink concert cheering the girls on, he has pics on his Insta with Lisa expressing how proud he is of her and bought BP a meal.
Because they have been training for a very long time. Everyone improves when you practice a lot. Imagine training a person so long with no improvements. As the one training that person, what would you feel? This is not about Nickhun. I am askin it in real life.

Nichkhun and Mark from GOT7 seem to have a lot in common. Both were pretty shy, didn’t think about becoming artists but fell in love with it after being scouted by the company. Are the visuals of their teams, grew up in LA but not Korean, were in a MATS team, pretty athletic, started writing and releasing their own solo work, both interested in acting, etc.

Nichkhun’s experience and maturity really show here. I never knew about some of those hardships he went through so it’s humbling to hear those stories. I love how Eric and Nichkhun mentioned how things were different back then and things are more open now. Love to see more interviews like this.
Yess Eric making the right observation that the 2PM brotherhood bond is legit and much stronger than many other groups. Truth! And I'm also real happy to hear Eric hanging out at Khunnie's house, like real friends hanging out and having fun. Nice guys sticking together and finishing first, yesss!
"Well I knew I was going to be in the group... Cause they need a face" Ayye! Y'all probably don't know but NICHKHUN'S Visual was a CULTURAL RESET back at the time! And he still is aging backwards!
That story about auditioning outside Starbucks is like something out of a teen movie 😄 2PM may be on hiatus right now but I'm glad Khun seems to have found a great work-life balance since many idols never get to spend enough time with their families or friends
I actually love to come back to this interview, because it’s one of my favorite Khunnie moments. It’s just so chill to hear him talk especially in English for so long.
Halfway through this and I just love how "loyal" Khun is with 2PM. I can feel how genuine his appreciation and commitment to his group. He is so humble. Thanks for this Eric!
the first like 45 mins was such a heartwarming talk and hearing Nichkhun talk about the struggles about being a foreign Kpop star (and a part of one of the most influential Kpop group). Go Nichkhun! Supporting 2PM always!
I'M SO GLAD WE FINALLY GET TO HEAR HIS STORY BECAUSE BACK IN 2010 2PM AND SUPER JUNIOR WERE THE ONES THAT GOT ME INTO K-POP SO THIS IS REALLY COOL. THANX ERIC NAMM FOR GIVING ME SOME CLOSURE IN MY LIFE LOL
Nichkhun is so kind, he is always think about other people instead of himself. Even when talking about the being burnt out because of the enormous amount of work he had, he was worried about the fans and his members over himself
Cannot believe it’s been 12 years already! And how awesome it is to even after 12 years hear new things about Khun!? Sooooo happy that he showed up, we all got used to him speaking Korean most of the time that 1 hour of English is like heaven 😂 Thank you Eric and DIVE studio for bringing him to the podcast!
I love this show ..just casually talking about their life like humans rather than idols !! and love how eric brings out the best in them relating with them so much and just wow !! like whoever the guest maybe.
His scouting story just showed that he was destined to walk this path. Imagine, a kid with no skills whatsoever and no interest in this field got pursued to auditioned and he was actually bad at it but still got called to train. And then there’s tons of very talented kids out there fighting so hard to just to get an audition. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nichkhun openly speaking about so many topics in English is such a gift. Very chill, naturally entertaining and deep at the same time. I fell in love with 2PM 10 years ago. These guys will always make my day. They all have different personalities and qualities but come together as one perfect team and family. Also Eric is such a good host, making his guests feel comfortable. Nichkhun really opened up in this one and it was pretty interesting getting to know all the stuff. Thank you Dive Studios.
You can tell he hasn’t spoken English in awhile. It kept getting better and natural as time passed. Happens to me when I have revert to Spanish when I haven’t seen my parents in a long time or my friends in English when I spent too much time at home.
He was so famous back then, he was everywhere literally everywhere TV shows, music shows, variety sports like everywhere I still miss his marriage to Victoria from f(x), oh his relationship with Tiffany from Girls Generation I remember watching Young Blood 2pm show that show is soo funny even though we never got to see the last episode coz of the Jay Park controversy yea anyways I still like him wish he came on shows
You're talking about wild bunny not hot blood. Hot blood was not actually funny at all. It showed 2pm and 2am boys on a really strict training program with missions that caused some of them to get physically injured for real. They fainted , got nosebleeds , felt sick and threw up , shivered from the cold and etc. It was kind of heart breaking to watch but I think every 2pm fan needs to watch it at least once.
Good point and I wonder why Nickhun didn't form a Chat group with West Coast American Korean pop music idols. *Nickhun has a choice of either Westcoast American Korean pop music Idol chat group🇺🇸 or Thai🇹🇭 idol chat group* For Eric Nam he can form eastern Time zone🇺🇸 chat group Kpop idols from NY,NJ,PA, Northern Virginia Washington DC and Ohio.
I loved how comfortable and genuine Nichkhun was talking about all of his stories. It really made me feel proud to see how much effort it took him to get to where he is now. Thanks Dive Studios for having him on the show!
He is very special. I mean all the 2PM members are nice and humble but I think he's the best in personality. I really admire him as a person. He's that kind of man. It's so miracle the JYP found him.
is it safe to say how glad i am that nickhun still works in jype as a director.. and the way he probably do some peptalk with the members of jype new groups.. and that he's probably the one who convinced the manageme to let mina get some rest .
Ok jokes aside....he literally stated the struggles of being in a company and being controlled and everything...so thank you for being honest and giving your best...i am not a fan of 2pm cuz I was not into kpop at that time...but listening to him I feel like they literally gave their 20000%....and mental health is a big thing...money is not important, happiness is...thanks for your words :)
Same I crazy that no one is talking about that part. Khun said hmit another time recently too. He said that during the first few years of promotion he couldn't really remember what they did and at that time they had so much work he couldn't even think for himself
Eric's interview game has improved big time and I love it. I suffer from the same conversation tactics he had before, namely jumping to a personal story of my own when I could relate well to the other person, but he manages it so well this time, constantly and smoothly keeping the focus on his interview partner. Have a random compliment from a stranger :) really well done!
This was surprisingly honest and really interesting. 2pm was one of the first groups I knew about way back in the day and it’s been a while since I’ve seen something from them. I really like Nickhun’s humor to.
Wow, this is actually more real and hits home harder than anything I’ve ever heard from an idol before. Nichkhun was dealing with senioritis but didn’t do anything but play badminton. He was given this massive opportunity in a completely new environment and he just did it. Then even throughout his career, he’s looking for something, a purpose, but there’s no burning passion like how most of idols normally express themselves. I think people would relate to him a lot bc of it. We’re just kind of floating around in space, waiting for the next Big Bang (theory) to hit us.
Why am I crying? Is just great to hear someone that has been trough a lot but that it's genuinely in peace and happy. I just feel super proud of Nichkhun as a fan, he really encouraged me to be better. Just work hard.
The first time I knew Nichkhun was from WE GOT MARRIED, Khuntoria was really my most unforgettable memory in my teenage years when I was crazy about Kpop. hope he can join more English podcasts, the vibe was so chill.
Listening to this podcast I bet his older **fans since he started** fans are so so proud of what he has accomplished. I never really got into kpop growing up or any type of music in general. 2PM and SuJu was really big when I was in HS, but I was aware of 2PM around 2013-15 because I really liked variety shows and I'd often see them. I used to really like taecyon bc of his dramas as well but I never really looked into 2PM since I rarely listen to music to the point that I look artists up on the internet. Lately I've been into thai dramas and I saw one of Nickhun's most recent from ViuThailand and I got so sad that I only discovered him recently. I'm a new fan and I want to see him achieve his dreams of breaking out in Hollywood, but I bet it's a bit tricky with everything that's happening right now.
Nickhun experience and his determination is benchmark to be a successful person. At young age , far from family and live in other country which speak different language with you is such a big challenge. He nailed it.
@@Hellokittyajumma if I'm not mistaken, it's when JYP nation concert but I forgot what year. JB was stressed out that time bc u know he has a big resposibility as GOT7 leader, so khun basically tried to console him and gave some advice he made JB cried (in a good way) lol
I got teary eyed on the part where he said he went out of his comfort zone because he promised he will do something for Hottests. What’s special about 2PM is their family relationship with each other and how they value “2PM and Hottests”. Very humble persons and down to earth. They all deserve everything what they have now. I’ll always be a PROUD HOTTEST 🥺🥺 Thank you Khunnie Oppa ❤️❤️
I love how extrovert and brave uri Chan is. Cus we know our kid went through a lot. At such a young age, he didn’t really felt like he was a kid. He is one responsible kid ever. I like the way they both talked it it looks like I’m watching some intellectual talkshow when Eric asked question and Nichkhun answered with brilliant answers 💕
I would never get bored of this, Nichkhun is so hillarious and his voice, OMG!!. The more I see him, the more I love him. Khunnie !!!! Please visit Vietnam !!!
paused the video just to type this: nichkhun is saying all the right words that fit my current narrative. i will never forget this moment (021922, 3:56 am) thank you so much, khun ♥️.
I came back to this interview, last time I forgot to thank the company lady, Nichkhun’s grandma and his dad, without them Hottest won’t have he as a 2pm member and of course Nichkhun hardwork and passion, I’m a fan of 2pm because of him since 2010 and he will always being my bias no matter what, sometimes I get obsessed with other 2pm members but then Nichkhun always pops out! Finally I’ll see him live at 2PM concert in Japan this October, I’m sure I’ll cry as a baby 😭 by the way I’m from Ecuador so I’ll cross the world just to see 2PM, thanks to them my teenage years were fun and memorable, literally I grew up with them ❤
I've seen nickhun since debut days but never followed him because they were just like.. what he said, controlled/following the orders of JYP so i couldn't see his real personality but seeing his down-to-earth personality is just a breath of fresh air! Such a boyfriend/husband/father material.
I used to watch him in variety show like wgm, etc back when I was in hs. Never see he talks as much as this and somehow shows his true personality. Its really good to see different side of him than in staged interview in entertainment. He speaks in english is so charming. ❤️
Nickhun was like the first kpop idol that I know and I was so shocked to find out later on that he wasn't even Korean like bruhhhhh and dude was everywheree

God of victory 2pm vs shinhwa
Nichkhun’s experience and maturity really show here. I never knew about some of those hardships he went through so it’s humbling to hear those stories.
I love how Eric and Nichkhun mentioned how things were different back then and things are more open now. Love to see more interviews like this.
Yess Eric making the right observation that the 2PM brotherhood bond is legit and much stronger than many other groups. Truth! And I'm also real happy to hear Eric hanging out at Khunnie's house, like real friends hanging out and having fun. Nice guys sticking together and finishing first, yesss!
I don’t know why but some how I’m feeling Jackson Wang will be here 💚 come on Eric let it happen
*YAAS PLEASEEEEE ERIC*
YES PLEASEEE 👌😇😭😭
that is a must !!!!!
I mean pretty please 😢😢
Pleaseeee jackson wang.. and henry too.. and god joon park too.. they must have much to talk and share :)
"Well I knew I was going to be in the group... Cause they need a face"
Ayye! Y'all probably don't know but NICHKHUN'S Visual was a CULTURAL RESET back at the time! And he still is aging backwards!
Don't lie, he aged fast!
True dat~ (99th like jsjjsjss)
@@icyliciousblue being in jyp ages u i guess
That story about auditioning outside Starbucks is like something out of a teen movie 😄
2PM may be on hiatus right now but I'm glad Khun seems to have found a great work-life balance since many idols never get to spend enough time with their families or friends
I actually love to come back to this interview, because it’s one of my favorite Khunnie moments. It’s just so chill to hear him talk especially in English for so long.
Thank you very much
Currently suffering from second hand embarrassment on Nichkhun’s being scouted. 😅😅
Nickhun makes me feel like i can talk to him hours and hours and never get bored
he's soooo insightful with everything he says about life, i'm in awe
He is..and i hope he can do a lot of interviews in English as he is more comfortable&a lot more talkative in it.. and do a TED talk 😄
L
Halfway through this and I just love how "loyal" Khun is with 2PM. I can feel how genuine his appreciation and commitment to his group. He is so humble. Thanks for this Eric!
They are brothers at this point. It's impressive that they still strongly identify themselves as 2PM members despite all them going solo for so long.
the first like 45 mins was such a heartwarming talk and hearing Nichkhun talk about the struggles about being a foreign Kpop star (and a part of one of the most influential Kpop group). Go Nichkhun! Supporting 2PM always!
Nickhun should be the main character of an english action anime adaptation. That deep voice. Holy moly!
I can imagine him doing a voice dub for Studio Ghibli! 😍
I’m back on this video because of the news that Nichkhun finally cast as a lead role in a Hollywood movie. Another huge goal achieved! I’m so proud!
Reallyyyy? Waittt whattt omg
Nichkhun seems so chill, it's so cool to know more about a JYP artist
Nichkhun is so kind, he is always think about other people instead of himself. Even when talking about the being burnt out because of the enormous amount of work he had, he was worried about the fans and his members over himself
Cannot believe it’s been 12 years already! And how awesome it is to even after 12 years hear new things about Khun!? Sooooo happy that he showed up, we all got used to him speaking Korean most of the time that 1 hour of English is like heaven 😂
Thank you Eric and DIVE studio for bringing him to the podcast!
This interview is turning me into such a Nichkyun fan. He just has such a lovely way of story telling!
Join us for this beautiful ride into watching him continue to blossom as an artist^^
Khun story remind me of Mark GOT7 , their audition story was similar
It’s more common than you think 😂😭
@@ree1997itsme Yep, like Umji from Gfriend. CEO of Source Music discovered her when he saw her walking in the street.
Anyone ever said that Nickhun's voice sounds like a prince?
We say his whole essence is of a prince lol
he wa literally nicknamed the prince of thailand
@@TheICEgirl6100 and disney prince is going around too because he loves disney
Me too(♡♡)
Nichkhun‘s voice is the most calming voice I have ever heard. I love this man. Have ever since I‘ve been a kpop stan and forever will.
Jun K speaking English and introducing nickhun to everyone is a NEW thing ..never heard that before ❤️❤️
He is so fluent you check his twitter hee is twitting in English before
Nichkhun openly speaking about so many topics in English is such a gift.
How he was scouted was a different level.
But when he said junho's having backpains becuase of his big bum REALLY MADE MY DAY!
NICHKHUN 😍😍😍😍
Nichkhun is so charismatic, I find myself just really captivated by his monologues. He's such an eloquent man and knows how how to tell a story!
I love this ep. Listened to it and now listening to it again.
Question: where did you hid your FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH, ERIC NAM & NICHKHUN????
legit! Khun really looking like baby here
Think also to Kim Hee Chul he's already 37yrs old HAHA
nichkhun speaking in english are music to my ears 🤍🩶
Khun is truely the sweetest person in the whole world😍
😃😃😃Thank you so much
Dang ditching high school for badminton, that’s more gangster than doing drugs. I wish I were like u nikhun.
You can tell he hasn’t spoken English in awhile. It kept getting better and natural as time passed. Happens to me when I have revert to Spanish when I haven’t seen my parents in a long time or my friends in English when I spent too much time at home.
He was my 1st bias before and the reason I joined the K-pop community. He never changed, still humble and funny guy
He was so famous back then, he was everywhere literally everywhere TV shows, music shows, variety sports like everywhere I still miss his marriage to Victoria from f(x), oh his relationship with Tiffany from Girls Generation I remember watching Young Blood 2pm show that show is soo funny even though we never got to see the last episode coz of the Jay Park controversy yea anyways I still like him wish he came on shows
And also idol army (2pm reality show )
omg Khuntoria yes! cant believe its been 10 years!
I think it's wild bunny that the last eps didnt get aired, its so funny though. I've rewatched it many times
*Nickhun has a choice of either Westcoast American Korean pop music Idol chat group🇺🇸 or Thai🇹🇭 idol chat group*
For Eric Nam he can form eastern Time zone🇺🇸 chat group Kpop idols from NY,NJ,PA, Northern Virginia Washington DC and Ohio.
It would be really fun to see jay park talking about his journey too..
yesss, I'd love to see him on KPDB!!!!!!
hey look at the new episode
@@v1ckywang yes yes i watched it today!😭 so happy!!!
@@kalamaklek so do I 😭
is it safe to say how glad i am that nickhun still works in jype as a director.. and the way he probably do some peptalk with the members of jype new groups.. and that he's probably the one who convinced the manageme to let mina get some rest .
Khun's voice is so attractive especially when he talk into english😍😍😍
What the hell is this? The more I see him, the more I miss him😭😭😭
Well this was just delightful. Nichkun's origin story is ..wow
Thanks for the love and support you showered on me
Ok jokes aside....he literally stated the struggles of being in a company and being controlled and everything...so thank you for being honest and giving your best...i am not a fan of 2pm cuz I was not into kpop at that time...but listening to him I feel like they literally gave their 20000%....and mental health is a big thing...money is not important, happiness is...thanks for your words :)
Same I crazy that no one is talking about that part. Khun said hmit another time recently too. He said that during the first few years of promotion he couldn't really remember what they did and at that time they had so much work he couldn't even think for himself
This might be my favourite episode so far. It was a joy to listen to such an organic and authentic conversation between Nichkhun and Eric.
So dad and grandma really got you here oh yeah and badminton oh yeah truly that's an incredible story. Thanks Batman 🦇😂
Thank you very much
Khunie is so honest, chill and humble, he's amazing
They should have taec soon!!
And amerithaikong of got7!!!!
and RM of bts!!
COME ON DIVE STUDIOS! let's keep the fire burning!
#AmeriThaiKong pleaseeee
It depends on the idols schedule though they’re really busy
Amerithaikong is a must !!!!
yeah please RM some day !!!! they have never done such interviews for like talking about themselves !!!
amerithaikong all the way
Nichkhun is great at interviews, I could listen to him all the time.
This was surprisingly honest and really interesting. 2pm was one of the first groups I knew about way back in the day and it’s been a while since I’ve seen something from them. I really like Nickhun’s humor to.
the way nickhun prioritized more of 2PM than his individual projects ❤️❤️ awww so nice of him
I was going to listen to this while doing my homework but I just kept laughing at Eric and Nichkhun and I couldn't focus
The way our favs matcheddd 😹
Wow, this is actually more real and hits home harder than anything I’ve ever heard from an idol before. Nichkhun was dealing with senioritis but didn’t do anything but play badminton. He was given this massive opportunity in a completely new environment and he just did it. Then even throughout his career, he’s looking for something, a purpose, but there’s no burning passion like how most of idols normally express themselves. I think people would relate to him a lot bc of it. We’re just kind of floating around in space, waiting for the next Big Bang (theory) to hit us.
Its my first time listening to Nichkhun. I love his persona. You can really tell that he is a senior artist. Loved his articulation.
Damn he is inspiring. I think whatever he ends up doing he will do great. He just already accomplished so much.
Nichkhun has not aged A SINGLE DAY
*Love that Nichkhun knew he was gonna make it because "they need a face"*
Nickhun is such a cutie, I really love his interactions with Eric💞
I’m back here cause 2pm made a comeback, truly just what nic said, mid 2021!
Nickhun experience and his determination is benchmark to be a successful person. At young age , far from family and live in other country which speak different language with you is such a big challenge. He nailed it.
By listening to Nichkhun's talked now I can see how he made Jb cried lol🤣🤣
Nichkhun made many people cry with his heart-to-heart talks🤣
When? Jb from got7?
@@Hellokittyajumma if I'm not mistaken, it's when JYP nation concert but I forgot what year. JB was stressed out that time bc u know he has a big resposibility as GOT7 leader, so khun basically tried to console him and gave some advice he made JB cried (in a good way) lol
@Everyday is cat Thanks! That’s so nice of Nichkhun, me liking JB so much too 😘
Only nichkhun who ditched school for going to play badminton😂😂😂
I got teary eyed on the part where he said he went out of his comfort zone because he promised he will do something for Hottests.
What’s special about 2PM is their family relationship with each other and how they value “2PM and Hottests”. Very humble persons and down to earth.
They all deserve everything what they have now. I’ll always be a PROUD HOTTEST 🥺🥺
Thank you Khunnie Oppa ❤️❤️
I love how extrovert and brave uri Chan is. Cus we know our kid went through a lot. At such a young age, he didn’t really felt like he was a kid. He is one responsible kid ever. Bang Chan Best Leader 😭 Thank you Oppa Nichkhun for giving piece of advice to your hoobaes. And thank you Sir Eric Nam for having our Oppa on your daebak show. I’m sucha grateful JYP STAN
Bang chan best leader❤️❤️❤️
I could listen to nichkhun for hours straight, it's so calm and soothing
I like the way they both talked it it looks like I’m watching some intellectual talkshow when Eric asked question and Nichkhun answered with brilliant answers 💕
I would never get bored of this, Nichkhun is so hillarious and his voice, OMG!!. The more I see him, the more I love him. Khunnie !!!! Please visit Vietnam !!!
I like his honesty. He obviously got casted for his look but I respect his hard work 👌🏻
I love how sincere and honest Nickhun was in this video. I admire how open, humble, and ‘real-talk’ the discussion was from both Eric and Nickhun.
Nichkhun is such a nice person. Listening to your guests experiences is really interesting Eric. Greetings from Mexico
paused the video just to type this:
nichkhun is saying all the right words that fit my current narrative. i will never forget this moment (021922, 3:56 am) thank you so much, khun ♥️.
Nichkhun is really in demand in japan and other countries, I watched him long before I got into kpop. Thanks for your hardwork ❤️
Is it just me Nickhun seems like a great friendddd he's so genuine 😍😍😍
I used to watch him in variety show like wgm, etc back when I was in hs. Never see he talks as much as this and somehow shows his true personality. Its really good to see different side of him than in staged interview in entertainment. He speaks in english is so charming. ❤️
Nickhun was like the first kpop idol that I know and I was so shocked to find out later on that he wasn't even Korean like bruhhhhh and dude was everywheree
