  • Happy New Year Everyone! It's been a great year and ready to see what comes with 2022. Thank you for all the support in my journey to help ordinary people learn the art of custom paint. I will be laying out some lowrider style graphics with a spun silver leaf accent. I will show you how easy leafing really is using LiME LiNE sizing glue, spinnable silver leafing, leaf roller and duster.
You can get all the paint and materials that I use on Amazon www.amazon.com/shop/influence...

Great work! Clearing question, can you clear right over silver/gold leafing without sealing it with more gliding to prevent lifting or do you just clean tank with DX330 wax and grease and do a couple light coats. Then a wet coat for final coat? Thanks

What have you found the working time of the sizing to be? If you were working on a large project, such as a car, would you do it in sections rather than size the whole car? My biggest problem seems to be setting time. But I was using a craft store water base size. I'm excited to try yours.

I almost have everything except for the spin tool and roller. I used to carve leather and then airbrush it with water-soluble acrylics. I want to try this, I think I can do it. I customize bicycles. For the motorized Schwinn, I didn't do any graphics. Now I decided to do a drop shadow on the fonts with my airbrush. I'm doing a kind of new racing BMX and making it look old-school '70s drag-style look black banana seat with chrome sissy bar but using more modern race parts like chromed RS brand park sprockets, complete with gold dice on the valve stems. LOL I think I'll practice this on a piece of glass.

I got an expensive made-in-USA BMX racing frame it probably cost over $800 just for the frame and fork. It's probably the lightest and strongest BMX bike I've ever picked up but they just put adhesive stickers on it. They are coming off after the summer heat of the last racing season. They look awful. I want to put the model name back on it but make it look better. It has a weird font I'll probably cut a tape stencil out for the outline.

Okay so I'm looking at building a chopper or bobber here in a year or two and I want it to stand out a little. Do you have any tips for pinstriping when you switch tape widths how you keep width of the area you're going to paint the same width. If that makes sense. Lucky for me I still have some frames and fuel tanks kicking around from my 3 wheeler days to practice on
