LYRICS:
It's an open window
A high flying eagle
This hope in my heart of hearts
It's a whole lot better
To let go with the anger
Those things were tearing us apart
Now I can look into your eyes
With nothing held inside
It's like after the storm
There's a ray of gold
That's how it feels
To let it go
It's like heaven has come
And opened the gates of your soul
To let it go
I got a whole new freedom
'Cause I'm finally seeing
I'm seeing you in the light of love
I'm not gonna judge you
I just wanna love you
There are no walls between us now
Now you can look into my eyes
There's nothing held inside
It's like after the storm
There's a ray of gold
That's how it feels
To let it go
It's like heaven has come
And opened the gates of your soul
It's a journey back into innocence
You feel the touch of tenderness
Your heart turns to gold
When you let it go
Let it go
This song helped me to forgive someone I was having a hard time forgiving. The words that made the difference was "a journey back into innocence". SOoooo powerful for me personally, as Ben Hur said, "He removed the sword from my hand." God bless you all.
One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite groups!!
You don't need to talk or chat with that person, but talk to the Lord about it, and it's what free's you from it. Loving them does not have to be accepting what they did, but letting it go. it also means you don't have to accept them back, but allow God to bring you forward. He closed that door to protect you, keep on moving! Plus free them from that guilt, in love and let them be and learn what they need to learn. Amen!?
Forgot about that guitar at the end. Let it go man
One of the best WH songs from the best WH album ever, Freedom!
