    Hello Max, Thanks video.
    I am a 21-year-old Japanese. I started working as a software engineer right after graduating from high school, but I am considering studying computer science more seriously and obtaining a degree by attending a university in Europe. It's because of budgetary reasons. ELTE is one of the candidates.
    My question is, would you recommend ELTE as a university for someone who wants to study CS? I apologize for the abstract question, but I'm curious about things like the content covered in the courses and the learning experience.

      Hello PandaNasu, thanks for commenting.
      I would recommend ELTE if you want to:
      1. Study in Europe.
      Hungary is one of the more budget option when deciding to study in Europe.
      2. Get government grants.
      Personally, the scholarship for studying in hungary wasn't too hard to get. So, you might consider getting one. It safe you a lot of money that way.
      With that said. It is only my first year so it is take it with a grain of salt. The content I have learned so far are pretty basic. It is fine nothing special except for a quirky language called "Clean". Though, some people did complain that the teacher teaching skip over the lesson to fast. But this only happens to people who didn't have prior knowledge.
      I hope this answer your question.

      Thanks a lot. The reason I asked a question was that I had already almost decided on attending ELTE University, but I wanted to hear the opinions of those who are currently attending. Since I feel that ELTE meets my needs, I will work hard to study English and Mathematics and secure funding so that I can enroll as a scholarship student.
      If you have any plans, I would love to hear about how your internship is going. Also, I am looking forward to continuing to watch your videos. Keep up the great work.

    Max, im not good at maths and lets say i also donot know anything about programming languages but i am interested in bachelors in CS at ELTE, what i think is nothing is difficult if we really want and put effort in, what would u suggest me :))

    • @MaxKingCS
      @MaxKingCS  9 місяців тому

      If you want to do it, just go for it. But to be sure, I would suggest you to look around the free alternative like MIT open courseware or something similar to see if it really interest you. Learning some programming can greatly benefit you in the beginning. Especially, if you are not that great in maths like me.

    Hello Max, in preparation for your entrance exam for CS degree. Which material did you use to prepare and what was the difficulty level? was the exam only maths?

    • @MaxKingCS
      @MaxKingCS  Рік тому +1

      To answer you question on exam. There were 3 exam english, math with calculator and math without calculator.
      Also, the material i used website online like khan academy and other maths site.
      The exam is not really difficult if you know what you are doing. But this depends entirely on person to person. Not to brag but i am someone who got full score or close to one on almost all maths test during high school. Then i had a gap year where i did only coding. After that i studied maths for 1-2 months before taking the entrance exam and just pass.
      If you are taking the entrance exam soon then all the best.

    Can you please give my any useful links/resources about the entrance exam
    Thank you

      @MaxKingCS  Рік тому

      Hi @bahijsy2218!
      It depends on what subject you are looking for in particular. Khan academy is a good place to start. It is free. Then you can find which topic you are weak in and search up a particular topic. I find that to be more useful.
      Hope this helps.
      If you want you can tell me the subject and I can try to see if I know a resource for the subject you are looking for.

      @@MaxKingCS Thank You, did the university tell you the topics that will be included in the exam? were they about math and physics or just math? and during the exam did they tell you to open your webcam or it was just a form on a web page, sorry for asking all these questions, and thanks again

    • @MaxKingCS

      @@bahijsy2218 no worries. To answer your first question. Yes, the university will tell you the topic needed in the exam. Secondly, the exam were maths with calculator and without calculator, english and maybe physics(i don't remember whether it is there or not but i think not). Lastly, it depends from year to year on the camera thing. During my exam there were no need for web cam. But my big brother exam need to have web cam on all the time.
