- My visit to the Goodwood Revival 2024 in the rain! A fantastic weekend overall even in the wet, just a shame we had to bail out on Sunday but there's always next year! Also, many thanks to those of you who said ‘Hello!’ to me, really nice meeting you! Hope you enjoy this video and I'll be back soon with more!

Thank you for sharing your experiences of the event, clearly the rain didn't dampen you and your families experience to much. I lived in the UK for a good number of years and went to the very first event in 1993, and was a frequent visitor. All the more due to the route I used which was the A272, what a glorious road, with stunning scenery and lovely villages etc. The perfect way to get to the event in a classic car - mine in later years was an MGB GT V8. All the best.
Yes we had a great time and will be back again! Thanks for the insight into your trips to Goodwood, I agree, it’s best to arrive in a classic for that authentic time-travel feeling 😂 cheers!

Thanks 👍 yeah it was a great event and we’ll be back again next year I’m sure! Haha yes everything dry now but I did have to get the tent out a few days later to give it a proper airing as it was so wet it left a puddle in the garage where it was left!
Nice flavour of the event sir. We also did the three days and with hindsight you should have stayed put, as the Sunday afternoon was a real scorcher and we ended up using our brolly as a parasol to keep the sun off us😄. Crazy weather but didn’t spoil the event too much.
Yes, you are right, I was gutted when I got home and saw how nice it was in the afternoon! Oh well, we’d had our fun pretty much this year and it was only really the RAC TT I wanted to watch on the Sunday and I did get to see that last year plus there’s always the next time! I think we were just glad to be home after a thorough soaking so maybe the right decision for us the time…. maybe 😅
👏 great video. I know what it's like with that rain. We got caught out one year at Car Fest North with the rain. Plus, we had flooded roads to drive through. Luckily we were in the Lotus so just flicked the 007 switch and we sailed on...
